Description
以下の解析は、ロスアラモス国立研究所が開発したシミュレーション計算ソフトMCNP6で行われ、断面積ライブラリENDF/B-7を使用した。
脳ファントムの線量を評価した。評価指標は治療可能比(Therapeutic Ratio;TR)および治療時間であった。
正常組織内のホウ素の濃度が25ppmであると仮定すると、腫瘍組織と正常組織内のホウ素の濃度比(T/N比)は3であり、計算(Tally)は中心軸を中心として行われ、断面は2cm×2cm(減速部の後部にある)であった。BNCT実現可能性評価の計算結果を表1~表6に示す。

Claims (9)
- 第1のチャネルに接続された陽子加速器、
前記第1のチャネルの一端に配置されたターゲット、および
前記第1のチャネルの前記端をカバーする体内配置用中性子減速部を含み、
前記ターゲットは前記体内配置用中性子減速部に埋め込まれており、前記体内配置用中性子減速部は減速物質を収容する収容要素を含み、前記収容要素は伸縮自在であり、
前記ターゲットと前記体内配置用中性子減速部の幾何学的中心との間の距離は、0cmから2cmである低侵襲中性子線発生装置。 - 第2のチャネルに接続された減速物質供給装置を更に含み、前記減速物質供給装置は、前記第2のチャネルを介して前記減速物質を前記収容要素に送達する請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記減速物質は水素含有物質である請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記体内配置用中性子減速部の直径は3cmから12cmの範囲である請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記ターゲットの材料はリチウム(Li)を含む請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記陽子加速器は、2MeVから2.6MeVの範囲のエネルギーを有する陽子線を生成する請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記陽子加速器は0.1mAから5mAの範囲の電流を用いる請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記第1のチャネルに隣接し、前記ターゲットを囲む冷却要素を更に含む請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
- 前記第1のチャネルは、患者の体内に配置される体内配置部と、患者の体外に配置される体外配置部を有している請求項1に記載の低侵襲中性子線発生装置。
