Description

The present invention relates to a method for detangling hair or fibers.

Hair is damaged by the living environment (ultraviolet rays and heat from sunlight), daily hair care actions (friction due to shampooing and brushing), and chemical treatments (coloring, perming, etc.). When damaged hair rubs against each other, a large frictional force is generated on the surface, causing tangling. "Hair entanglement" is a source of all stress in hair care behavior. "Hair entanglement" is detected by poor finger combing during lathering with a hair cleansing agent such as shampoo when shampooing, and poor finger combing during rinsing of hair after shampooing.
When a hair cosmetic such as a conditioner or a treatment is used as a method for untangling hair after shampooing, the lubricating component is applied to the surface of the hair by applying the hair cosmetic to the hair and letting it blend in while passing a finger through the tangled portion. While spreading the hair, it untangles the hair. In the prior art, cationic surfactants, higher alcohols, silicones and the like are blended into hair cosmetics such as conditioners and treatments for the purpose of improving finger combing and combing of hair.

Patent Document 1 discloses that a hair cosmetic containing a polyetheramino-modified silicone and a cationic surfactant suppresses the feeling of squeakiness of the hair when rinsing and in a stream of water, and improves the flexibility and smoothness of the hair. It is disclosed that damage due to tangling of hair during rinsing can be prevented.
Patent Document 2 discloses a combination of an amino-modified silicone having a specific kinematic viscosity range, an aminopolyether-modified silicone, a dimethylpolysiloxane having a specific kinematic viscosity range, a specific alkyl-type cation, and a specific higher alcohol. While the hair cosmetic enhances the water retention capacity of the hair, it also improves finger combing during use, can give a supple and moist finish, and prevents dryness and moisturizing under low humidity. is disclosed to be given.

0.01≦Si/AO≦1.6 (I)

[Method for preventing tangling of hair or fibers]
The method for preventing tangling of hair or fibers of the present invention (hereinafter also simply referred to as the "method of the present invention") is a treatment agent comprising hair or fibers containing or blending the following components (A) and (B): It is characterized by having a step of contacting with.
(A) Aminopolyether-modified silicone containing a polyoxyalkylene structure that satisfies the following formula (I): 0.005% by mass or more and 5% by mass or less 0.01≦Si/AO≦1.6 (I)
[In formula (I), Si represents the number of moles of silicon atoms in component (A), and AO represents the average number of moles of oxyalkylene addition in component (A). ]
(B) Aqueous medium The method of the present invention has the above-described steps to suppress the occurrence of tangling in hair or fibers that are prone to tangling, and even if tangling occurs, there is no need to perform an operation such as passing the hand through. Able to untangle voluntarily. In addition, "containing the component (A) and the component (B)" also means "comprising the component (A) and the component (B)."

Although the reason why the method of the present invention produces the above effects is not clear, it is speculated as follows.
It is considered important to reduce the frictional force acting between hairs or fibers in order to suppress the occurrence of tangling of hair or fibers and to make the state in which tangling occurs spontaneously. The present inventors have found that it is effective to use a treatment agent containing a predetermined amount of component (A), which is a water-soluble silicone that satisfies predetermined requirements, in order to reduce the frictional force acting between hairs or fibers. Found it.

For example, by applying the method of the present invention to the hair and towel-drying the hair in a state where the tangles have been loosened, the contact area between the hair and the towel increases, and the water in the hair is quickly absorbed by the towel. In addition, it is thought that the drying speed of the hair is improved because the contact area between the hair and the air increases during drying with a dryer or natural drying, and the moisture in the hair evaporates quickly.

In addition, in the present Examples, various measurements and evaluations were performed by the following methods.

(pH measurement)
The pH at 25° C. was measured using a pH meter (F-51, manufactured by Horiba, Ltd.).

(Comb through load measurement)
After thoroughly rinsing the treated hair tress obtained in each example with warm water of 35 to 40°C, it was set in a combing force measuring device ("KOT-0303" manufactured by Utsunomiya Seiki Co., Ltd.), and the hair tress was measured at the maximum. A comb (9 pins with a diameter of 2 mm arranged in a straight line at intervals of 4 mm) was passed through the upper part, and the load (gf) applied when the comb was passed through the tip of the hair was measured. The load was calculated at 200 points for a bundle of hair having a length of 20 cm, and the total value of the 200 points was defined as the "combing load".
If the combing load is less than 15,000 gf, the effect of untangling the hair is very high, and if it is 10,000 gf or less, it means that the tangling has disappeared.

(Ease of brushing after towel drying)
After thoroughly rinsing the treated hair tress obtained in each example with warm water of 35 to 40° C., it was put on a towel and dried with a towel so as to cover and rub both sides of the tress.
The above-mentioned hair bundle is set in a combing force measuring device ("KOT-0303" manufactured by Utsunomiya Seiki Co., Ltd.), and two brushes are used to sandwich the root of the hair bundle from the left and right, and simultaneously brush toward the tip of the hair. was repeated 10 times. The maximum load in one stroke was measured, and the number of strokes required to reach 400 gf or less was evaluated. The smaller the number of strokes shown in the table, the less entanglement of the hair after drying with a towel and the easier the brushing.

(Quick-drying evaluation)
After rinsing the treated hair tress obtained in each example with warm water of 35 to 40°C for 30 seconds, it was dried at a distance of 5 to 15 cm from the hair tress while combing it with a hand ("Sobis TYPE 315" manufactured by CAN Co., Ltd.). , air volume setting: High), and the time required for the wet hair to return to its dry weight was measured. A shorter drying time indicates a higher quick-drying property.
