Description
Claims (13)
- 流体充満嚢を含有する生物学的増殖組織を処置するための電気手術機器であって、
生物学的組織内へマイクロ波エネルギーを送達するための電気手術器具
を備え、前記電気手術器具が、
マイクロ波エネルギーを伝えるための同軸ケーブルと、
前記同軸ケーブルからマイクロ波エネルギーを受けるべく前記同軸ケーブルの遠位端に配置されている放射先端部分と
を含むものであり;さらに、
流体を前記放射先端部分の周りに位置する処置区域との間で輸送し交わすための流体送達機構
を備え、前記流体送達機構が、
前記同軸ケーブルに沿って延在する可撓性流体運搬導管と、
前記流体運搬導管の遠位端に流体連通しており前記処置区域内へと延出するように構成されている剛直挿入要素であって、前記剛直挿入要素が中空針を含む前記剛直挿入要素と
を含むものであり、前記流体送達機構が、
前記処置区域から流体を吸引するように、及び
前記吸引された流体を交換すべく前記処置区域内に物質を注入するように
構成されており、前記物質が、前記処置区域内の生物学的組織への処置エネルギーの均一な送達を促すように選択された誘電特性を有する、前記機器。 - 前記処置区域が、生物学的増殖組織内に含有された流体充満嚢を含み、前記流体送達機構が、前記流体充満嚢内の生物学的流体を前記物質で交換するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記流体送達機構が、前記処置区域から吸引された前記流体の体積と等しい体積の前記物質を前記処置区域内に注入するように構成されている、請求項1または請求項2に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記物質が誘電性流体からなる、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記物質が脱イオン水を含む、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記物質が前記放射先端部分への延長部分としての役割を果たし、その結果、マイクロ波エネルギーは前記物質と前記生物学的組織との界面において放射される、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記物質が、前記処置区域へのマイクロ波エネルギーの印加中に液相から固相へと転移するように選択される、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記同軸ケーブルが内部導体、外部導体、及び前記内部導体と前記外部導体とを隔てている第1誘電材料を含み、前記内部導体が中空となって前記流体送達機構のための通路を提供している、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記剛直挿入要素が前記通路を介して前記可撓性流体運搬導管と流体連通している、請求項8に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記剛直挿入要素が前記通路内に摺動可能に取り付けられている、請求項8または請求項9に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記剛直挿入要素が、それが前記電気手術器具の遠位端を超えて突出した露出位置と、それが前記電気手術器具の遠位端から後退した格納位置との間で移動可能である、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記電気手術器具が、患者の内臓の画像を生成するための超音波プローブを含む、請求項1から請求項11のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
- 前記マイクロ波エネルギーを発生させるための発生器;及び
患者の消化管の中への非経皮挿入のための外科用スコープ装置
をさらに備え、前記外科用スコープ装置が、その長さに沿って延びる器具経路を有するものであり、
前記電気手術器具及び流体送達機構が前記外科用スコープ装置の前記器具経路の中へと運搬され、
前記同軸ケーブルが、前記発生器から前記マイクロ波エネルギーを受けるように連結されている、請求項1から請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の電気手術機器。
