Claims (9)
- 静電容量式液面センサであって、前記センサが、使用中に最下端となる末端まで延びる自由垂下部分を有する舌部の形態のセンサ本体と、前記舌部に沿って前記末端に向かって延びる互いに離間した一組の容量電極とを備え、使用中に、前記舌部の前記末端が液体に浸漬されると、前記電極間の静電容量が前記液体の深さに応じて変化し、
前記舌部の幅が、前記末端に向かって増加することにより、前記舌部の前記自由垂下部分の下半分の少なくとも一部において前記舌部の前記自由垂下部分の最も広い部分を形成しており、前記電極が、前記舌部の前記自由垂下部分の前記最も広い部分の手前で終端している、静電容量式液面センサ。 - 前記舌部が平坦である、請求項1に記載の静電容量式液面センサ。
- 前記舌部がプリント回路基板である、請求項1または2に記載の静電容量式液面センサ。
- 前記舌部が、末端部とは反対側の端部に、前記舌部を取り付けることができる接続部分を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の静電容量式液面センサ。
- 前記接続部分に電気接点が設けられている、請求項4に記載の静電容量式液面センサ。
- 前記舌部が側板によって囲まれる、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の静電容量式液面センサ。
- 液体センサアセンブリであって、前記アセンブリが、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の静電容量式液面センサを備え、前記センサが、使用中に最下端となる末端まで延びる自由垂下部分を有する舌部の形態のセンサ本体と、前記舌部に沿って前記末端に向かって延びる互いに離間した一対の容量電極とを備え、使用中に、前記舌部の前記末端が液体に浸漬されると、前記電極間の静電容量が前記液体の深さに応じて変化し、
前記アセンブリが、前記センサの前記舌部を囲むハウジングをさらに備え、前記センサと前記ハウジングとの間の隙間が、前記舌部の前記自由垂下部分の下半分の少なくとも一部において下方に向かって減少している、液体センサアセンブリ。 - 前記ハウジングが、タンクおよび/または蓋の一部によって設けられている、請求項7に記載の液体センサアセンブリ。
- 前記センサと前記ハウジングとの間の前記隙間が、最も狭い部分において6mm以下である、請求項7または8に記載の液体センサアセンブリ。
