b.即ちプラスチック製/ポリマー製注射器は、現在の設計に従って製造されるため、射出成形の製造技術の制約により、注射針側の注射器内径は、通常ピストン側の注射器内径より少し小さくなる。一方、自動注射器において使われるピストン駆動用スプリングは、注射器の針側に到達すると、少しの機械力が発生する。以上の設計のコンフリクトにより、注射器の設計者が必要以上の強力なスプリングを使用せざるを得なくなり、保存又は注射操作プロセスにおいて、部品の無効化を引き起こすことがある。
c.即ちガラス式プレフィルドシリンジが現在のルアーロック接続に基づいて設定される場合、ルアーロックと一体に組み立てられると、ルアーロックが回転する恐れがある。
d.現在のプレフィルドシリンジは、単一の薬物容器から複数回の正確な注射を行う機能が設計されていない。
e.32g針など小型針を必要とする場合、現在のステーキドニードルの形態は、設計と生産の制約から、実行できない。
f.現在、容器/器械部品と薬物との適合問題の存在が知られている。例えば、スチール製針からFeイオンが発生するが、Feイオンによって、アドレナリン自動注射器でプレフィルドシリンジ内のアドレナリンの酸化を引き起こす。ガラス式プレフィルドシリンジのタングステンイオンによって、注射器の中の蛋白薬物の凝集を引き起こす。ガラス式プレフィルドシリンジの亜鉛イオンによって、注射器の中の蛋白薬剤のゲル化を引き起こす。また、一部の薬剤に強烈な溶剤が用いられ、または極端なPHを有するため、ステーキドニードル付きのプレフィルドシリンジでの使用に適しない。
以上の原因から、新規な設計に基づく注射装置は、ユーザに必要とされる。

害されたり、針が曲げられたりする問題が避けられる。この設計は、例えば32gなどの小型注射針を使用する場合に有利である。アセンブリ80において、弾性的密封可能なスリットバルブ705は、容器704に充填される薬物と注射針806との液体シールとしても使用される。
Claims (11)
- 遠位端と、近位端とを有し、薬物内容物を維持するために用いられる容器本体であって、前記容器本体は、前記遠位端にフランジと、前記近位端にレッジを備え、
前記容器本体の内部に設けられ、薬物内容物を密封するために用いられるピストンと、
前記容器本体に設けられ、前記ピストンを遠位端に移動させるとともに、前記容器本体の近位端側に取り付けられるプッシュロッドであって、前記ピストンが前記容器本体の前記近位端から前記容器本体の前記遠位端へと移動する際、前記プッシュロッドの縦方向の軸が、前記容器本体の縦方向の軸と一列に並んだ状態を保持するように、前記レッジと接続され、前記プッシュロッドは、前記プッシュロッドが前記レッジから抜けないように、前記レッジと係合できるように突出した形状を有するプッシュロッドと、
前記容器本体の遠位端に設けられ、前記容器本体から患者への薬物内容物搬送用の開口を有する接続装置であって、前記フランジと接続するように構成される、接続装置と、

- 前記プッシュロッドは、複数回の注射に用いられる複数のセクションを有する請求項1に記載の注射装置。
- 前記容器本体と前記接続装置との間に設けられ、注射前に薬物内容物の前記注射針との接触を防止するために用いられる、圧力によって開放可能な密封バルブをさらに備える請求項1に記載の注射装置。
- 前記注射針の無菌化を維持する針キャップをさらに備える請求項9に記載の注射装置。
- 前記容器本体の前記近位端の内径は、前記容器本体の前記遠位端の内径よりも小さい請求項1に記載の注射装置。
