主に水栓から吐水口に伸びる管に容易に新たな吐水口を着脱できる分岐水栓の新しい構造であり、別系統の吐水口を使用したい場合に新たに接続して水流出路を切替るための構造でこの吐水管分岐の主な構造は、T形分岐管、差込分岐管、圧縮コイルバネ、ジョイント管、切替解除ボタン、差込接続管から構成されており、T形分岐管は水流入路側に吐水管に接続するための片ナットが付いていて片ナットの内側にはパッキンが付いていて、主水路の水流出路側の出口部分の管外側には吐水管に接続するためのネジ山が切られていて、T形分岐管の直角に分岐される管の水流出路側の管内側にはジョイント管を填めるための内ネジが切られていて、管の内径は主水路管の内径より太く、その主水路側には圧縮コイルバネが引っかかるバネ受けがあり、主水路側に繋がる穴は差込分岐管用パッキンが通過できる大きさの内径になっていて、さらに主水路側の管内部には差込分岐管が押込まれ主水路を横切って突当る位置に差込分岐管の先端が収まる差込分岐管軸受が掘られているT形分岐管と、差込分岐管はT形分岐管の直角に分岐される管に挿入される管で、管の挿入される側の先端は穴が開いていないが、差込分岐管軸受まで挿入した時に主水路の水流入路側に分岐水受口である穴が主水路管の内径と同じ幅で管の側面に開いており、その穴の縁取りには差込分岐管用パッキンが付いていて、差込分岐管の中央付近には圧縮コイルバネを抑えるためと、ジョイント管で止まりT形分岐管から抜けなくするための幅6mm程度のストッパーが付いていて、さらに差込分岐管には管が回転することを防止するための回転防止ガイドがジョイント管装着側の管外側に左右水平に取付けられ、さらに回転防止ガイドから差込接続管の先端方向の間には差込接続管回転防止ガイドが挿入されるためのレールが左右対称に切られている差込分岐管と、差込分岐管がT形分岐管に押込まれた後で分岐を元に戻すためには差込分岐管をT形分岐管の主水路から抜かないといけないが押込まれた管を引き抜くのは難しいため、圧縮コイルバネを装着することで常に押し戻そうとする力が働き、切替解除ボタンを押してストッパーを外すだけで主水路から差込分岐管を引き抜くことができるようにするための圧縮コイルバネと、ジョイント管には切替解除ボタンが取付けられており、T形分岐管に固定して接続し、差込分岐管をT形分岐管の中に閉じ込め、その差込分岐管に差込接続管を挿入した際に深く押込むことでジョイント管の差込接続管用固定穴に固定ツメBストッパーが填まり差込接続管を固定させることができ、ジョイント管はT形分岐管に接続するためのネジ山が管の外側に切られていて、管の内側には差込分岐管の回転防止ガイドが填まる回転防止レールが掘られていて、管の中間付近の上部には差込接続管用固定穴が2つ開いていて、その穴の間に切替解除ボタンを取付けるためのバネ装着用突起があって、その2つの穴に切替解除ボタンが填まって取付られているジョイント管と、ジョイント管の2つの穴の間にあるバネ装着用突起と切替解除ボタンの内側にあるバネ取付け用突起にボタン用コイルバネを取付けることでジョイント管に取付けられている切替解除ボタンと、差込接続管は差込分岐管に挿入する挿入部の外径は差込分岐管の内径と一致し、その挿入部の外側に差込分岐管の回転防止レールに填まる回転防止ガイドが左右水平に取付けられていて、挿入部ではない差込接続管の外径は差込分岐管外径と同じで、ジョイント管の内径とも一致しており、挿入部に近い挿入部ではない差込接続管の上部にはジョイント管に固定するための固定ツメBストッパーが取付けられていて、この固定ツメBストッパーは弾力の強い板バネでその板バネを格納取付けするための穴が差込接続管に開いていて、切替解除ボタンを押すとこの板バネの固定ツメBストッパーが板バネを格納取付けするための穴に収まり差込接続管をジョイント管から抜くことが出来るようになる差込接続管とで差込式切替分岐水栓は構成されており、水を分岐するための仕組みとしてT形分岐管の差込口から圧縮コイルバネを装着した差込分岐管を挿入すると、T形分岐管の圧縮コイルバネ受と差込分岐管ストッパーの間でバネの反発作用により強い力を加えなければ一定の位置で差込分岐管は留まることになり、主水路を塞ぐことはなく、ジョイント管の回転防止レールに差込分岐管の回転防止ガイドが填まるように調整してT形分岐管差込口にジョイント管を填めて固定させたら、ジョイント管のもう一方側から差込接続管の差込分岐管挿入部を差込分岐管に差込み、さらに強く押し込みジョイント管に挿入し、固定ツメBストッパーでジョイント管に固定される位置まで押し込むと、差込分岐管がT形分岐管の突き当たる差込分岐管軸受まで押し込まれることになり、水の流れを直角に切替えることができ、差込接続管に繋がるホースやシャワーヘッドなどから吐水することが出来るようになり、シャワーヘッドなどを取外す時は、切替解除ボタンを押すと差込接続管の固定ツメBストッパーが外れ、圧縮コイルバネの力で差込分岐管と差込接続管が押し出され取外すことが出来ると同時に水流出路は元の給水経路に戻ることになる差込式切替分岐水栓。
