例えばマンションなどで洗面化粧台に隣接して洗濯機が設置されている場合、洗面化粧台用水栓は人が顔や手洗い等に適するよう低く設置されているので、洗面台用水栓から高さのあるポリバケツなどに給水するときは、洗面化粧台のカウンター内にポリバケツを斜め置きにしながら給水しなければならず給水し難いといった不都合がある。また、洗濯機給水用水栓から仮設ホースを用いて給水することも考えられるが、いずれにしても利便性の観点から洗濯中でも洗濯機給水用水栓からの給水を利用できる機構が望まれる。

以下、この発明の実施の形態を図面を参照しながら説明する。

図1〜図3において、1は、洗面化粧台ユニット2に隣接して設置されている洗濯機で、洗濯機給水用水栓3が洗濯機1に合わせて設置されている。この実施形態では前記洗濯機給水用水栓3として本出願人が多数出願している水道用コンセント(例えば、特開平10−299042号公報、特開平11−293724号公報、特開平11−256631号公報参照)を採用している。4は、前記水道用コンセント3の水流出口に連通する水栓側継手(給水口部)で、下流部分4bが上流部分4aから斜下方向に突設されており、先端における外周面部にロック溝を有する。5は、止水機能を兼ねた流量調整用レバーである。6は、洗面化粧台ユニット2のカウンター7に設置された水栓である。8は、壁面である。

前記分岐水栓本体11は、流量調整用レバー5を開状態(通水状態)にすれば洗濯機1へ給水を常時続けることができる連通流路を有するよう構成されているとともに、分岐水栓本体11には分岐ハンドル13の操作に連動するボールバルブ(図示せず)が内蔵されており、分岐ハンドル13を開状態(通水状態)にすると連通流路がボールバルブを介して分岐管12に形成される分岐流路にも分岐連通する一方、分岐ハンドル13を閉状態(止水状態)にするとボールバルブによって連通流路と分岐流路が遮断されるよう構成されている。

また、分岐水栓本体11の下流端には、洗濯機給水用ホース10の上流側継手16に接続される継手17が設けられている。そして、前記上流側継手16にもロックレバー17が設けられている。前記両継手16,17の接続機構としては、本出願人が出願している特願平11−342247号明細書、図面に記載されているものを用いることができる。
