Description
本発明は、USDA/NIFAによって授与された18-CRHF-0-6055の下で政府の支援を得て為された。政府は本発明に一定の権利を有する。
産卵鶏およびブロイラーの尾から、機械的手段を用いて尾腺を切除し、切開して、腺内容物を取り出した。尾腺脂質を、80℃の内部温度に加熱し、3,000×gで40分間遠心分離して腺内容物から抽出し、画分を、薄層クロマトグラフィおよびガスクロマトグラフィ(GC)を用いて脂肪酸組成に関して分析した。産卵鶏から単離された尾腺油の量は、尾腺当たり0.09から0.79gまでの幅があった。ブロイラーから単離された尾腺油の量は、尾腺当たり0.05から0.21gまでの幅があった。精製尾腺油の脂肪酸含量を図1に示す。

Claims (24)
- 成長中の魚に給餌する方法であって、
成長中の魚において生存率を改善するおよび/または成長を刺激する有効量の精製尾腺油を含有する魚飼料組成物を前記成長中の魚に与えること
を含み、
前記精製尾腺油は16:0、18:0、18:1のC9、19:0、18:2および20:0の脂肪酸を含有する
方法。 - 前記魚飼料組成物は、w/wベースで0.01から10重量%の精製尾腺油を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記魚は水産養殖されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記魚は鰭魚または甲殻類である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記魚は、コイ、ティラピア、ハイブリッドストライプバス、サケ、マス、ナマズ、イエローパーチ、ウォールアイ、タラ、スギ、スズキ、マグロ、またはヒラメである、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記成長中の魚における成長は、成長中の魚の集団の平均長である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記成長中の魚は仔魚または稚魚である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記魚飼料組成物は、w/wベースで0.01から10重量%の精製尾腺油を含有する、請求項7に記載の方法。

前記精製尾腺油は16:0、18:0、18:1のC9、19:0、18:2および20:0の脂肪酸を含有する養殖魚飼料組成物。 - 前記基礎養殖魚飼料組成物は、魚粉、大豆粉、野菜粉、トウモロコシ粉またはこれらの組合せを含有する、請求項18に記載の養殖魚飼料組成物。
- 前記基礎養殖魚飼料組成物は、必須アミノ酸、タンパク質、ペプチド、ビタミン、ミネラル、炭水化物、脂肪、油およびこれらの組合せをさらに含有する、請求項18に記載の養殖魚飼料組成物。
- 0.1から99重量%の精製尾腺油と、食用成分とを含有し、前記精製尾腺油は16:0、18:0、18:1のC9、19:0、18:2および20:0の脂肪酸を含有する養殖魚飼料添加物組成物。
- フレーク、ペレットまたは錠剤の形態の請求項18に記載の養殖魚飼料組成物。
- 前記精製尾腺油は、前記養殖魚飼料組成物全体に実質的に均一に分布する請求項18に記載の養殖魚飼料組成物。
- 前記精製尾腺油は、前記養殖魚飼料組成物上にトップドレッシングによって添加される請求項18に記載の養殖魚飼料組成物。
