Description
図1は紫外線検出器の第1実施形態を模式的に示す縦断面図である。本実施形態の紫外線検出器1は、シリコン基板10と、紫外線透過部11と、波長変換部12と、可視光受光部13と、赤外線受光部14と、赤外線透過部15と、遮光壁16と、を有する。
図6は、紫外線検出器1の第2実施形態を模式的に示す縦断面図である。第2実施形態の紫外線検出器1では、先のUVB透過フィルタ11x及びUVC透過フィルタ11yに代えて、UV透過フィルタ11zが用いられている。
図9は、紫外線検出器1のパッケージング例を模式的に示す縦断面図である。既出の構成要素については、第2実施形態(図6)と同一の符号を付すことで重複した説明を割愛し、以下では、新出の構成要素について重点的に説明する。
これまでに説明してきた紫外線検出器1は、火災報知器の炎センサとして好適に利用することができる。以下、図面を参照しながら具体的に説明する。
なお、本明細書中に開示されている種々の技術的特徴は、上記実施形態のほか、その技術的創作の主旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更を加えることが可能である。すなわち、上記実施形態は、全ての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきであり、本発明の技術的範囲は、上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味及び範囲内に属する全ての変更が含まれると理解されるべきである。

Claims (8)
- 入射光に含まれる紫外線を透過する紫外線透過部と、
前記紫外線透過部を透過したUVB領域の紫外線を第1波長の可視光に変換する第1波長変換部と、
前記紫外線透過部を透過したUVC領域の紫外線を前記第1波長とは異なる第2波長の可視光に変換する第2波長変換部と、
シリコン基板に形成されて前記第1波長変換部で得られた前記第1波長の可視光を検出する第1可視光受光部と、
前記シリコン基板に形成されて前記第2波長変換部で得られた前記第2波長の可視光を検出する第2可視光受光部と、
前記入射光に含まれる赤外線を透過する赤外線透過部と、
前記赤外線透過部を透過した赤外線を検出する赤外線受光部と、
前記第1可視光受光部の第1導光路、前記第2可視光受光部の第2導光路及び前記赤外線受光部の第3導光路をそれぞれ形成する遮光壁と、
を有する、紫外線検出器。 - 前記紫外線透過部は、前記第1波長変換部に対して前記UVB領域の紫外線を透過するUVB透過フィルタと、前記第2波長変換部に対して前記UVC領域の紫外線を透過するUVC透過フィルタと、を個別に含む、請求項1に記載の紫外線検出器。
- 前記紫外線透過部は、前記第1波長変換部及び前記第2波長変換部の双方を共通して被覆するように形成されている、請求項1に記載の紫外線検出器。
- 前記第1波長変換部は、前記UVB領域の紫外線を受けて前記第1波長の可視光を発する第1蛍光顔料を含み、前記第2波長変換部は、前記UVC領域の紫外線を受けて前記第2波長の可視光を発する第2蛍光顔料を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の紫外線検出器。
- 前記第1蛍光顔料及び前記第2蛍光顔料は、それぞれ、前記第1可視光受光部及び前記第2可視光受光部の開口径よりも小さい粒子径を持つ、請求項4に記載の紫外線検出器。
- 前記第1波長変換部と前記第1可視光受光部との間、及び、前記第2波長変換部と前記第2可視光受光部との間でそれぞれ赤外線を遮断する赤外線遮断部を有する、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の紫外線検出器。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の紫外線検出器を用いて炎が発する紫外線を検出する炎センサと、
警報を出力する警報出力部と、
前記炎センサの検出結果に応じて前記警報出力部を駆動する制御部と、
を有する、火災報知器。 - 前記紫外線検出器は、前記UVB領域及び前記UVC領域双方の紫外線について、それぞれの放射照度これに応じた値を算出し、それぞれの強度及び比率から炎の種類を判別する、請求項7に記載の火災報知器。
