下層(207)の上に前記金属粉体(201)の分散層(206)を堆積し、集束エネルギー源(210)を用いて前記分散層(206)を溶融して、前記分散層(206)の少なくとも一部分(301)を接合し且つ形成された追加層(205)を下層(207)に接合することによって、堆積方向(204)に追加層(205)を連続して形成するステップであって、追加層(205)を連続して形成することにより、堆積方向(204)に形成された中空スペース(208)を有する物品(200)の一部分(301)を形成する、ステップと、
堆積方向(204)に追加層(205)を連続して形成するステップを、前記分散層(206)の金属粉体(201)を溶融又は部分的に溶融させて該金属粉体(201)を溶融及び/又は液相に転換させながら、繰り返すことによって、溶融又は部分的に溶融した金属粉体(201)が前記中空スペース(208)内に進んで固化して、前記中空スペース(208)内に延びる突出特徴要素(209)を形成するステップと
