Description
フィールド適用内のプロセス変数トランスミッタの動作中、プロセス変数トランスミッタのハウジング内で水分又は他の流体の存在を検出して正確な出力が確実に提供されるようにする一方、同時にプロセス変数トランスミッタが確実に損傷されないようにすることが必要な場合がある。
Claims (14)
- プロセストランスミッタであって、
導管との結合部を有するトランスミッタハウジングと、
前記トランスミッタハウジング内に配置された液体検出器であって、前記トランスミッタハウジング内の液体の存在を示す信号を生成するように構成された温度センサを含む前記液体検出器と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、業界基準プロセス通信プロトコルにしたがって通信するように構成された通信回路と、
前記トランスミッタハウジング内に配置され、前記通信回路及び前記液体検出器に結合され、前記生成された信号を受信し、前記受信された信号に基づいて前記トランスミッタハウジング内の液体の存在を決定し、前記トランスミッタハウジング内の前記決定された液体の存在を示す出力を生成する、ように構成された制御装置と、
を含む、
プロセストランスミッタ。 - 前記液体検出器が、前記温度センサに結合され、前記制御装置からの電流を受けて前記温度センサに対して熱を発成するように構成された加熱要素をさらに含む、請求項1記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記加熱要素が、抵抗器を含み、前記温度センサが、前記液体検出器の電気回路内で並列に接続されたダイオードを含む、請求項2記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記ダイオードが、異なるタイミングで前記ダイオードを挟んだ電圧降下に対応する信号を生成する、請求項3記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記制御装置が、前記ダイオードからの信号を受信した際、異なるタイミングで前記ダイオードを挟んだ前記電圧降下に基づいて前記ダイオードの動作温度を決定する、請求項4記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記制御装置が、前記ダイオードの動作温度における差に基づいて液体の存在を決定する、請求項5記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記信号が、第1のタイミングで前記ダイオードの第1の電圧降下に対応する第1の信号と、第2のタイミングで前記ダイオードの第2の電圧降下に対応する第2の信号と、を含む、請求項4記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記第1のタイミングが、前記ダイオードが前記加熱要素から発成された熱を受けた後に、上昇された動作温度で動作されるタイミングを含み、前記第2のタイミングが、電力が前記加熱要素に提供されなくなったその後のタイミングを含む、請求項7記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記制御装置が、前記出力を受信した際に前記トランスミッタハウジング内の前記決定された液体の存在を表示するように構成されたユーザインターフェースデバイスに対して、前記出力を生成する、請求項1記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- プロセストランスミッタであって、
導管との結合部を有するトランスミッタハウジングと、
前記トランスミッタハウジング内に配置された液体検出器であって、熱を発成するように構成された加熱要素と、前記加熱要素に電気的に結合されて、前記発成された熱を受けて前記トランスミッタハウジング内の液体の存在を示す信号を生成するように構成された温度センサと、を含む液体検出器と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、業界基準プロセス通信プロトコルにしたがって通信するように構成された通信回路と、
前記通信回路及び前記液体検出器に結合され、前記信号を受信して、前記受信された信号に基づいて前記トランスミッタハウジング内の液体の存在を決定するように構成された制御装置と、
を含む電気回路、
を含む、
プロセストランスミッタ。 - 前記温度センサが、ダイオードを含み、前記加熱要素が、前記電気回路内で並列に接続された抵抗器を含む、請求項10記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記生成された信号が、前記ダイオードを挟んだ異なるタイミングの電圧降下に対応し、前記制御装置が、前記生成された信号を受信した際に、前記ダイオードを挟んだ電圧降下に基づいて、異なるタイミングで、前記ダイオードの動作温度を決定する、請求項11記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記制御装置が、前記液体検出器の温度差に基づいて、前記トランスミッタハウジング内の液体の存在を決定する、請求項12記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
- 前記トランスミッタハウジング内の液体の存在を決定した際に、前記制御装置が、ユーザインターフェースデバイスに対する出力を生成するように構成されている、請求項13記載のプロセストランスミッタ。
