Claims (14)
- エアロゾル送達装置であって、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物を保持するように構成されたリザーバを囲む少なくとも1つのハウジングと、
加熱要素と、
加熱素子を含む電気負荷に接続される電源であって、電気負荷に電力を供給するように構成されたリチウムイオンキャパシタ(LIC)を含み、LICと電気負荷との間でLICに接続されたDC-DCコンバータを含む、電源と、
DC-DCコンバータと電気負荷との間で、DC-DCコンバータおよび電気負荷に接続されたダイオードであって、LIC、DC-DCコンバータ、ダイオードおよび負荷が直列に接続されている、当該ダイオードと、
アクティブモードで動作するように構成されたマイクロプロセッサであって、アクティブモードにおいて、マイクロプロセッサが、電源から加熱要素に電力を導き、それによって加熱要素を制御して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化し、気化させるように構成されている、マイクロプロセッサとを含む、エアロゾル送達装置。 - LICが200から400ファラドの範囲の容量を有する、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- DC-DCコンバータがスイッチングレギュレータである、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電源が、LICと並列に接続されたスナバ回路をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- DC-DCコンバータが入力および出力を有し、ダイオードがアノードおよびカソードを有し、
DC-DCコンバータの入力および出力が、LICとダイオードのアノードとにそれぞれ接続され、ダイオードのカソードが電気負荷に接続される、請求項1-4のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。 - 電源が、LICが充電可能であるエネルギー源と接続可能な端子をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- エアロゾル前駆体組成物が少なくともグリセリンおよびニコチンを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 加熱要素を備え、エアロゾル前駆体組成物を収容するカートリッジと連結されているか、連結可能な制御本体であって、加熱要素がエアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化し気化させるように構成されているエアロゾル送達装置を形成するために、カートリッジと連結されているか、連結可能であり、制御本体が、
制御本体がカートリッジと連結されたときに、ヒータを含む電気負荷に接続される電源であって、電気負荷に電力を供給するように構成されたリチウムイオンキャパシタ(LIC)を含み、LICと電気負荷との間でLICに接続されたDC-DCコンバータを含む電源と、
DC-DCコンバータと電気負荷との間で、DC-DCコンバータおよび電気負荷に接続されたダイオードであって、LIC、DC-DCコンバータ、ダイオードおよび負荷が直列に接続されている、当該ダイオードと、
アクティブモードで動作するように構成されたマイクロプロセッサであって、アクティブモードにおいて、制御本体はカートリッジと連結され、マイクロプロセッサが、電源から加熱要素に電力を導き、それによって加熱要素を制御して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化し、気化させるように構成される、マイクロプロセッサと
を含む、制御本体。 - LICが200から400ファラドの範囲の容量を有する、請求項8に記載の制御本体。
