- 口腔および咽喉の病原性微生物を励起・照射するためのハンドヘルド装置(1;1')であって、
表面領域にいる前記病原性微生物を自家蛍光励起・照射する少なくとも一つの、短波長可視スペクトル域の励起光源(31;31')と、
前記病原性微生物に一次照射し透照する少なくとも一つの、赤色スペクトル域の一次照射光源(32;32')と、を備え、
少なくとも一つの前記一次照射光源(32;32')から放射された光線は、前記病原性微生物が産生する内因性ポルフィリンによって吸収され得るスペクトル成分を有するので、前記光線によって前記病原性微生物の蛍光形成および不活性化が行われ、
前記ハンドヘルド装置(1;1')は、前記表面領域への自らの圧力を検出すると、前記病原性微生物の不活性化を達成するために、照射光度を10mW/cm2~100mW/cm2の範囲の値に増加させる圧力センサをさらに備える
ことを特徴とするハンドヘルド装置。 - 前記病原性微生物に二次照射する少なくとも一つの、450nm~600nmの範囲の可視スペクトル域の二次照射光源(33;33')をさらに備える
