前記物品送り部で送られてきた物品の周囲を覆うように前記帯状資材供給部から供給された帯状資材を筒状に形成するとともに、前記筒状の前記帯状資材における物品の上方に位置する上部を製袋する天井部材を備えた製袋機本体を備え、
前記天井部材は、前記物品送り部の前記排出側端に対して上下方向で重なるように配置され、
該製袋機本体の上流側入口から、前記抑え部の上流側入口までの何れかの領域で、筒状に形成された前記帯状資材の上部のうち、少なくとも前記排出側端の上方に対応する部分を前記天井部材の方へ持上げる持上げ部材を備えたことを特徴とする製袋機。
