前記第1折込ガイドの下流側に配設され、且つ、前記連続シート(16)の前記他方の折返片部を、前記折り畳まれた一方の折返片部上に重ねるように折り畳む第2折込ガイドと、
前記第2折込ガイドの下流側にて前記第1,第2挟持体で挟持されている被包装物(A)の部位を、前記折り畳んだ両折返片部の重なり方向から挟持し直す機能を有し、且つ、前記第1挟持体に取付けられた第3,第4挟持体と、
前記挟持し直す位置の下流側に配設され、且つ、前記第3,第4挟持体により挟持状態で搬送される被包装物(A)の下流側及び上流側で連続シート(16)を切断するカッター(4)と、
前記カッター(4)の配設部の下流側に設けられ、且つ、前記切断された部分を摘んでひねる、ひねり装置(5)とを具備し、
前記第2挟持体は、前記被包装物(A)の搬送路と平行に走行する無端ベルトの外周面部であり、
前記第1挟持体と前記第3,4挟持体とは、被包装物(A)を連続シート(16)越しにつかむキャッチャ(3)に設けられ、前記第1挟持体はキャッチャ(3)のベース部(32)から前方に突出されたアーム取付ブロック(33)により構成されて該アーム取付ブロック(33)の前面で被包装物(A)を連続シート(16)越しに前記第2挟持体となる無端ベルト側に押え付けて挟持するように構成され、前記第3,4挟持体はアーム取付ブロック(33)に回動自在に支持された一対の挟持アーム(35)(36)により構成されて該一対の挟持アーム(35)(36)を回動させて第1,2挟持体で挟持されている被包装物(A)を連続シート(16)越しに挟持するように構成されており、
前記キャッチャ(3)は第1挟持体が被包装物(A)の搬送路を隔てて第2挟持体を構成する前記無端ベルトに対向する領域を通過するように循環走行され、前記被包装物(A)を第1,2挟持体から第3,4挟持体に挟持し直すときには被包装物(A)は第1,第2挟持体と第3,第4挟持体の両方で連続シート(16)越しに挟持され、第3,4挟持体で挟持し直された後のカッタ(4)による切断位置(S6)からひねり位置(S8)に至る範囲では常に第3,4挟持体で被包装物(A)が挟持される、ひねり包装機。
