Claims (9)
- 工作機械の主軸の旋回軸と中心軸が一致するように支持された円筒形ワークの外周面上において、前記旋回軸と直交し且つ互いに直交する第1方向および第2方向にセンサを移動させて、前記第2方向の座標の変化に対して前記第1方向の座標が極大もしくは極小となる点Pの座標を測定する工程と、
前記旋回軸からの前記第1方向における距離D1が既知である基準点Qと、前記点Pと、の前記第1方向における距離D2を算出する工程と、
前記距離D1と前記距離D2から、前記円筒形ワークのワーク径を算出する工程と、を有する、ワーク径の測定方法。 - 前記旋回軸に対応するZ方向から見たときに、前記基準点Qが、前記点Pおよび前記旋回軸と同一直線上にある、請求項1に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
- 前記第1方向が、鉛直方向のX方向または水平方向のY方向である、請求項1または2に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
- 前記点Pの座標が、前記X方向の座標が極小となる座標である、請求項3に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
- 前記センサは、前記旋回軸と直交する平面内を移動可動な構造体に取り付けられている、請求項3または4に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
- 前記構造体が、複合加工機または旋盤の第1刃物台または第2刃物台である、請求項5に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
- 前記基準点Qが、前記ワークを把持する前記主軸のチャック上に設けられている、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
- 旋回軸を有する主軸と、
前記旋回軸と直交し且つ互いに直交する第1方向および第2方向に移動可能であり、前記旋回軸と中心軸が一致するように支持された円筒形ワークの外周面上において前記第2方向の座標の変化に対して前記第1方向の座標が極大もしくは極小となる点Pの座標と、前記旋回軸からの前記第1方向における距離D1が既知である基準点Qの座標とを、算出するセンサと、
前記点Pの座標および前記基準点Qの座標から、前記点Pと前記基準点Qとの前記第1方向における距離D2を算出し、前記距離D1と前記距離D2から、前記円筒形ワークのワーク径を算出する演算部と、を具備する、工作機械。 - 前記点Pの座標の測定は、前記中心軸に垂直な平面と前記外周面との交線に沿って前記センサを移動させることで行われる、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のワーク径の測定方法。
