Claims (13)
- 中心部と周辺部とを有する放射性挿入体であって、中心部より周辺部において放射線量が高い放射性挿入体と、
中心部と周辺部とを有する前記放射性挿入体の周囲の外包材であって、外包材の1つの壁は、壁の周辺部より壁の中心部において高い放射線遮蔽性を有する外包材とを備えた放射線源。 - 前記放射性挿入体が環状の形状を有する請求項1に記載の放射線源。
- 前記環状の形状は、前記放射性挿入体の中心部よりも前記放射性挿入体の周辺部において厚みが大きい請求項2に記載の放射線源。
- 前記放射性挿入体の中心部が凸部を有する請求項2に記載の放射線源。
- 前記放射性挿入体の中心部が通路を有する請求項2に記載の放射線源。
- 前記放射性挿入体の通路を通過する遮蔽性挿入体を更に備えた請求項5に記載の放射線源。
- 前記壁の中心部における高い放射線遮蔽性が、前記放射性挿入体に向かって伸びる内部平坦部によるものである請求項1に記載の放射線源。
- 前記放射性挿入体の中心部が通路を含み、遮蔽性挿入体が前記放射性挿入体の該通路を貫通する請求項7に記載の放射線源。
- 前記放射性挿入体の中心部が円板部を有し、前記放射性挿入体の周辺部の厚みが前記円板部の厚みより大きい請求項7に記載の放射線源。
- 前記内部平坦部が、前記放射性挿入体の前記円板部に向かって伸びる請求項9に記載の放射線源。
- 前記外包材が外蓋を更に有し、前記外蓋は放射線源と接する内蓋を受けるブラインド開口部を有する請求項10に記載の放射線源。
- 中央通路を有する環状の放射性挿入体と、
前記中央通路を通過する遮蔽性挿入体と、
前記放射性挿入体の周囲の外包材とを備えた放射線源。 - 前記放射性挿入体がストロンチウム-90を含み、ストロンチウム-90が、ストロンチウムセラミック、ストロンチウムガラス、SrF2、Sr2P2O7、SrTiO3、SrO、Sr2TiO4、SrZrO3、SrCO3、Sr(NbO3)2、SrSiO3、3SrO・Al2O3、SrSO4、SrB6、SrS、SrBr2、SrC2、SrCl2、SrI2、及び、SrWO4からなる群から選ばれる材料又は化合物中に含まれる請求項12に記載の放射線源。
