脱炭試験
一部の試験では、横方向のサイズが35~50μmの30g/Lのナノグラファイトと、Na2SiO3(ケイ酸ナトリウム)であるバインダーと、任意にDriCAT(R)である有機金属化合物を含む水性混合物を鋼にスプレーして、鋼を被覆した。次いで、任意に、コーティングを室温で、又は100℃で30分間乾燥させた。
微小硬度試験
この場合、1250℃で再加熱した後、一部の試験を水中で急冷してマルテンサイトを形成し、高温鋼製品の表面から1500μmの深さまでの微小硬度の変化を微小硬度測定によって測定した。実際、マルテンサイトが形成されると、マルテンサイトの炭素含有量は、微細構造内の炭素の量に正比例する。したがって、微小硬度が高いほど、炭素含有量は高くなる。

- 横方向のサイズが1~60μmの片状ナノグラファイトと、ケイ酸ナトリウム、並びに硫酸アルミニウム及びアルミナの混合物から選択されるバインダーと、任意に、有機金属化合物とからなるコーティングを含む被覆鋼基材であって、
前記鋼基材が重量パーセントで次の組成:
0.31≦C≦1.2%、
0.1≦Si≦1.7%、
0.7≦Mn≦3.0%、
P≦0.01%、
S≦0.1%、
Cr≦0.5%、
Ni≦0.5%、
Mo≦0.1%、及び
純粋に任意基準で、次のような1つ以上の元素:
Nb≦0.05%、
B≦0.003%、
Ti≦0.06%、
Cu≦0.1%、
Co≦0.1%、
N≦0.01%、
V≦0.05%、
を含み、
前記組成の残部は、鉄及び生成から生じる不可避の不純物からなる、
被覆鋼基材。 - ナノ粒子の横方向のサイズが20~55μmである、請求項1に記載の被覆鋼基材。
- ナノ粒子の横方向のサイズが30~55μmである、請求項2に記載の被覆鋼基材。
- コーティングの厚さが10~250μmである、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の被覆鋼基材。
- 鋼基材がスラブ、ビレット又はブルームである、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の被覆鋼基材。
- コーティングが有機金属化合物をさらに含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の被覆鋼基材。
- 有機金属化合物が、ジプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル(CH3OC3H6OC3H6OH)、1,2-エタンジオール(HOCH2CH2OH)及び2-エチルヘキサン酸、マンガン塩(C8H16MnO2)を含む、請求項6に記載の被覆鋼基材。
- 連続する以下の工程:
A.請求項1に記載の鋼基材の提供;
B.請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のコーティングを形成するために水性混合物を使用するコーティング堆積;
C.任意に、工程B)で得られた被覆鋼基材の乾燥
を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の被覆鋼基材の製造方法。 - 工程B)において、コーティングの堆積が、スピンコーティング、スプレーコーティング、ディップコーティング又はブラシコーティングによって行われる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 工程B)において、水性混合物が、1~60g/Lのナノグラファイト及び150~250g/Lのバインダーを含む、請求項8又は9に記載の方法。
- 工程B)において、水性混合物が95重量%を超えるCを含むナノグラファイトを含む、請求項8~10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程B)において、工程B)において、水性混合物が99重量%以上の量のCを含むナノグラファイトを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 工程B)において、バインダーに対するナノグラファイトの重量比が0.3以下である、請求項8~12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程B)において、水性混合物が有機金属化合物を含む、請求項8~13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程B)において、有機金属化合物の濃度が0.12重量%以下である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 工程C)において、乾燥が適用される場合、前記乾燥が50~150℃の温度又は室温で行われる、請求項8~15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程C)において、乾燥が適用される場合、乾燥工程が熱風で行われる、請求項8~16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程C)において、乾燥が適用される場合、前記乾燥が5~60分間行われる、請求項8~17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 以下の連続工程:
I.請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の、又は請求項8~18のいずれか一項に記載の方法に従って得られる被覆鋼基材の提供;
II.750~1300℃の温度で再加熱炉内での前記被覆鋼基材の再加熱;
III.工程II)で得られた再加熱された被覆鋼板の脱スケール処理;及び
IV.脱スケール処理された鋼製品の熱間圧延
を含む、熱間圧延鋼製品の製造方法。 - 工程II)において、再加熱が800~1300℃の温度で行われる、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 工程III)において、脱スケール処理が圧力下で水を使用して行われるか、又は前記脱スケール処理が機械的に行われる、請求項19又は20に記載の方法。
- 工程III)において、水圧が100~150バールである、請求項21に記載の方法。
