・出力Pが1Wを超えているので、放射が極めて安定しており(変動が3%未満)、長時間にわたり処置の深さが変わらない、処置にとって適切なフルエンスを確保している;
・レーザ光線が、フラットトップ強度分布を有し(η≦15%)、すなわち、周囲組織の損傷を引き起こさず皮脂腺の選択的治療に適しており、0.5mmを超える直径φ、より一般的には0.5mm~5.0mmの範囲から選択することのできる直径φを有し、レーザ光線強度分布が変化しないように維持し、選択された態様で生体組織への進入の可能性を確保する;
・人の皮膚に対する熱衝撃を生じさせることのある寒剤ガスを使用することなしに皮膚の表面温度Tiを-10℃~+10℃に制御する;
・レーザインパルスの持続時間τが、皮脂腺による熱の拡散時間を超えず、前記皮脂腺の周囲組織の加熱を防止する。
a)吸収係数μaに比例し、したがって、入射光線の波長λに左右される;
b)散乱現象が増加するにつれて減少する減分f(fraction)に比例し、したがって、上記の点に関して、入射光線の波長に左右され、入射光線が生体組織に進入する深さzと相関している;
c)入射光線のエネルギーEに比例し、したがって、E=P×τの関係により、放射システムの出力Pに比例している;
d)入射光線の照射時間τに比例し、入射光線の照射時間は、熱緩和時間trよりも長いと、標的組織を通り越すより大きな熱の伝播、したがって、過剰な温度上昇を引き起こすことがある;
e)直径φ及びレーザ光線領域の強度分布に比例している;
f)標的組織の初期温度Tiに比例している;
ことが推断される。
2:散乱の影響は、波長が大きくなるにつれて減少する、したがって減分fが変化する;
3:もう一方では、放射光の進入能力は、波長とともに増加する。
1.光ファイバのコアの直径φ及び開口数NAは、一様な強度分布を有する光線を発生させることに機能するのではなく、平行化されたレーザ光線の入射をレンズ4により最大限にすることにより、光線の強度における損失とSMAコネクタ7の望ましくない過熱を引き起こさないことに機能する;
2.規格化周波数(V-number)>2.405;
3.光ファイバのコアは、円形、正方形又は長方形のプロファイルを有していてよい;
4.長さLが、L*と呼ばれる或る値のLを過ぎると一様な強度分布を有するレーザ光線が得られる長さである;
5.光ファイバは、装置への収納に対してのみ機能して曲げによるレーザ光線強度の損失をまねかない曲率半径で巻かれている。
Claims (5)
- ニキビの選択的治療用レーザ装置であって、出力端が光コリメータ(2)になっているレーザ光線を供給するレーザ光源(1)であり、所定の持続時間の前記レーザ光線のインパルスを送れるようにするスイッチ(13)を備えた前記レーザ光源(1)と、前記光コリメータ(2)から受けたレーザ光線の焦点を合わせるレンズ(4)を備えた光学機械インターフェース(3)と、前記光学機械インターフェース(3)に接続された光ファイバ(5)を備えたレーザ装置において、
前記光ファイバ(5)が、15mを超える長さを有し、前記レーザ装置が、前記光ファイバ(5)に接続されたハンドピース(10)を備え、前記ハンドピース(10)が、前記ハンドピース(10)から出るレーザ光線の直径を0.5mm~5.0mmで変えることのできる光学ズームシステム(11)を備え、
前記レーザ光源(1)が、単一モードであり、
前記光ファイバ(5)が、多重モードファイバであり、
前記光ファイバ(5)が、その出力においてフラットトップビーム強度分布を有するレーザ光線を発生させ、フラットトップビーム強度の標準偏差の同じフラットトップビーム強度の平均値に対する比率が20%未満であることを特徴とするレーザ装置。 - 前記レーザ光源(1)が、1726nmの波長でレーザ光線を放射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記ハンドピース(10)が、出力端にサファイア製の窓(12)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のレーザ装置。
- 所定温度の空気を前記サファイア製の窓(12)の内側の面に送る冷却システムを備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレーザ装置。
- インパルスの持続時間が10ミリ秒~500ミリ秒の範囲にあるように前記スイッチ(13)が制御されることを特徴とする請求項1~4のうちの1請求項に記載のレーザ装置。
