Claims (8)
- 燃料電池(1)用のバイポーラプレートであって、プレート本体の複数のウェブ(8)の間に形成された反応物用の流れチャネル(6)を有し、冷却剤用の流路(7)を有し、かつ、プレート本体に割り当てられるとともに勾配が形成された親水性構造を有しており、
前記親水性構造の勾配は、流れチャネル(6)の底部に向かって親水性が増加するように、ウェブ(8)に割り当てられており、
流れチャネル(6)へと開口するとともに毛管力を生成するように配置された、流れチャネル(6)への複数のマイクロチャネル(10)が、ウェブ(8)の境界面に形成された、バイポーラプレート。 - 親水性材料から形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバイポーラプレート。
- 前記親水性構造が、前記ウェブ(8)上のコーティングとして形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のバイポーラプレート。
- 前記複数のマイクロチャネル(10)の開口部の表面密度が、前記流れチャネル(6)の縁部から底部に向かって増加することを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート。
- 前記マイクロチャネル(10)が、前記境界に対して垂直に配向されていることを特徴とする、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート。
- 前記流れチャネル(6)の底部が、それらの隣接領域における前記ウェブ(8)よりも親水性であることを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート。
- 膜電極配置(3)を有し、反応物用の流れチャネル(6)および冷却剤用の流路(7)を有するバイポーラプレート(5)と、前記膜電極配置(3)および前記バイポーラプレート(5)の間に配置されたガス拡散層(4)と、を備え、
前記バイポーラプレート(5)が、請求項1~6のいずれかに従って設計された、燃料電池。 - 前記バイポーラプレート(5)は、その複数のウェブ(8)における、ガス拡散層(4)と面した領域において、前記ガス拡散層(4)よりも高い親水性を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の燃料電池。
