Description
本特許出願は、「BUBBLE SIZE MONITORING AND CONTROL」と題する2016年8月27日出願の米国仮出願第62/210,775号の優先権の利益を主張するものであり、その内容は、参照することによりその全体が本明細書に包含される。
本開示は、水と、水に混和性を有せずかつ水よりも低密度の流体と、これらの成分内のガスとの混合物の分離に関する。特に、この開示は、一体化した脱気及び浮選タンクに関し、これは特に、油とガスとを含有する水相が分離される分離工程に適している。
炭化水素は、主なエネルギ源として広く用いられており、世界経済に大きな影響を有する。その結果、炭化水素資源の発見及び効率的な生産はますます注目されている。比較的アクセス可能な炭化水素鉱床が激減しているため、炭化水素探査及び生産は、到達するのがより困難なことがあり、及び/または、新たな技術的挑戦を招くことのある新たな領域に拡大している。典型的な作業中、陸地または海の下であるかに関わらず、炭化水素を含む貯留槽に達するまで、ボアホールが地中に掘削される。このような炭化水素は、油、ガスまたはこれらの混合物の形態であり、これらは、ボアホールを通して地表まで運ばれ得る。
いくつかの実施形態は、油-水セパレータの効率をモニタ及び制御するシステムを有する。

Claims (9)
- 水相と油相とを有する多相流体を流す第1管路と、
浮選ガス源と、
前記第1管路の下流端と流体連通する第1入口と、前記浮選ガス源と流体連通する第2入口と、出口とを有する混合システムとを備え、前記混合システムは、前記浮選ガスのバブルを内部に有する改良された多相流体を前記出口で造り出すために、前記第1管路の下流端から流れる前記多相流体に前記ガス源からの浮選ガスを混合するように構成され、更に、
前記混合システムの前記出口と流体連通する上流端を有する第2管路と、
前記第2管路に関連するバブル制御システムであって、
前記混合システムを横断する流体速度又は流量の増大を判断するために、前記第1管路の多相流体及び前記第2管路の前記改良された多相流体の流体速度または流量を判断し、
前記速度又は流量の増大を、前記改良された多相流体内のバブルのバブルサイズ分布を所要の範囲内に維持するような、所要の範囲内に維持するために、前記流量又は速度降下の関数として前記混合システムを制御するように構成される前記バブル制御システムを備える、システム。 - 前記混合システムは、静的ミキサを備え、前記多相流体の前記速度又は流量の増大を所要の範囲内に維持することは、前記改良された多相流体が前記静的ミキサを通過するときの前記改良された多相流体の速度又は流量を調整するため、前記静的ミキサに関連した出口弁を調整することを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 調節可能な前記出口弁は、可変領域オリフィス板弁、バタフライ弁、可変ケージ弁、虹彩絞りタイプ可変弁、または、内部に変更可能規制板を有する弁、の一つである、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合システムは、前記浮選ガス源用浮選ガス源コントロールを有し、前記バブル制御システムは、前記浮選ガス源の流速を変更するために、前記浮選ガス源コントロールと連通することにより、前記混合システムを制御する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記バブル制御システムは、
前記速度または流量の増大を判断するために前記第1管路及び前記第2管路の流体速度または流体流量計の測定値を受け取り、前記所要の範囲内に前記増大を維持するために前記静的ミキサ及び/または調節可能な出口弁を制御する、コントローラとを備える、請求項3に記載のシステム。 - 更に、前記第2管路の下流端に流体連通する入口と、前記改良された多相流体の油相の少なくとも一部がこれを通して流れることを可能とし得る油出口とを有するセパレータを備え、前記バブルサイズ分布の前記所要の範囲は、前記油出口を通して前記油相の大部分が流れることができるために十分である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 浮選ガスのバブルを内部に有する改良された多相流体を造り出すために、少なくとも1つの作動状態にしたがって水相と油相とを有する前記多相流体に前記浮選ガスを混合し、
前記多相流体と前記浮選ガスとを混合する混合システムを横断する前記多相流体の流体速度又は流量の増大をモニタし、
前記改良された多相流体中のバブルサイズ分布を所要の範囲内に維持するように、前記多相流体の前記速度又は流量の増大を所要の範囲内に維持する、ことを含む方法。 - 前記混合することは、静的ミキサを使用して実行され、前記多相流体の前記速度又は流量の増大を前記所要の範囲内に維持することは、前記改良された多相流体が前記静的ミキサを通過するときの前記改良された多相流体の速度又は流量を調整するため、前記静的ミキサに関連した出口弁を調整することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記混合することは、静的ミキサを使用して実行され、前記多相流体の前記速度又は流量の増大を前記所要の範囲内に維持することは、前記多相流体の前記速度又は流量を調整するため、前記混合の間前記浮選ガスの流量を調整することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
