Description
本願はかかる背景に鑑みてなされたものであり、電動車両の走行中に、途中の充電ステーションでバッテリを充電する必要が生じた場合に、途中の充電ステーションまでの走行制御と、充電に備えたバッテリの温度管理とをより適切に行うことができる電動車両の制御装置を提供することを目的とする。
このように、事前温度調節処理と残容量確保条件を維持するための処理とを実行することによって、電動車両が到達可能充電ステーションに到着するまでの走行制御と、充電に備えたバッテリの温度管理とを、より適切に行うことができる。
[1.電動車両の制御装置の構成]
図1を参照して、本実施形態の電動車両の制御装置10は、電動車両1に備えられている。以下では、電動車両の制御装置10を、制御装置10とも記する。電動車両1は、バッテリ66から供給される電力により、モータ63(本発明の走行駆動部に相当する)を作動させて、デファレンシャルギヤ60を介して車輪61,62を駆動することによって走行する電気自動車である。
次に、図4及び図5に示したフローチャートに従って、バッテリ温度制御部24及び走行制御部25により実行される処理について説明する。
上記実施形態では、本発明の電動車両として、バッテリ66からの電力により駆動するモータ63のみによって走行する電動車両1を示したが、バッテリの充電機能を備えた車両であれば、本発明の適用が可能である。例えば、モータの他に、内燃機関を備えたPHV(Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle)等に対して、本発明の適用が可能である。
Claims (7)
- バッテリと、該バッテリから供給される電力により作動して、該バッテリを加熱又は冷却するバッテリ温度調節部と、該バッテリから供給される電力により作動する走行駆動部とを備えた電動車両の制御装置であって、
前記電動車両の現在位置を検出する現在位置認識部と、
前記電動車両の進行方向に存在する充電ステーションであって、前記バッテリの残容量に基づいて到達可能と想定される充電ステーションである到達可能充電ステーションを認識する到達可能充電ステーション認識部と、
前記到達可能充電ステーションにおける前記バッテリの充電の要否を判断する充電要否判断部と、
前記電動車両の走行中に、前記充電要否判断部により、前記到達可能充電ステーションにおける前記バッテリの充電が必要であると判断された場合に、前記電動車両が前記到達可能充電ステーションに到着した時点における前記バッテリの温度が所定の充電対応温度範囲内となるように、前記バッテリ温度調節部を作動させる事前温度調節処理を実行するバッテリ温度制御部と、
前記バッテリ温度制御部により前記事前温度調節処理が実行されているときに、前記バッテリの現時点での残容量から、前記電動車両が前記到達可能充電ステーションに到着するまでの間に、前記バッテリから前記走行駆動部に供給される電気量の予測値である予測走行用電気量と、前記電動車両が前記到達可能充電ステーションに到着するまでの間に、前記バッテリから前記バッテリ温度調節部に供給される電気量の予測値である予測温度調節用電気量とを減じた予測残容量が、残容量判定値以上となる残容量確保条件を維持するための処理を実行する走行制御部と
を備えていることを特徴とする電動車両の制御装置。 - 前記走行制御部は、前記残容量確保条件を維持するための処理として、前記電動車両の速度又は加速度を制限する走行制限処理を実行することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動車両の制御装置。
- 前記走行制御部は、前記バッテリ温度制御部により前記事前温度調節処理が実行されているときに、前記走行制限処理において、前記電動車両が走行している道路の規定最高速度を超えた速度で、前記電動車両を走行させても前記残容量確保条件の維持が可能である場合に、前記電動車両の上限速度を前記規定最高速度に設定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動車両の制御装置。
- 前記バッテリ温度制御部は、前記事前温度調節処理において、前記バッテリの温度が少なくとも前記充電対応温度範囲の上限以下となるまで、前記バッテリ温度調節部を作動させ、
前記走行制御部は、前記バッテリ温度制御部により前記事前温度調節処理が実行されているときに、前記走行制限処理において、前記バッテリの温度が前記充電対応温度範囲の上限以下に維持される状態で、前記電動車両の上限速度を前記電動車両が走行している道路の規定最高速度に近づけることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の電動車両の制御装置。 - 前記バッテリ温度制御部は、前記事前温度調節処理において、前記バッテリの温度が少なくとも前記充電対応温度範囲の上限以下となるように、前記バッテリ温度調節部を作動させたときに、前記バッテリの温度が上昇する場合には、前記バッテリの温度が一定となるように前記バッテリ温度調節部を作動させることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のうちいずれか1項に記載の電動車両の制御装置。
- 前記バッテリ温度制御部は、前記事前温度調節処理において、前記バッテリの温度が前記充電対応温度範囲内の冷却基準温度まで低下したときには、前記バッテリの温度が前記冷却基準温度に維持されるように、前記バッテリ温度調節部を作動させることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のうちいずれか1項に記載の電動車両の制御装置。
- 前記走行制御部は、前記バッテリ温度制御部により前記事前温度調節処理が実行されているときに、前記電動車両が前記到達可能充電ステーションに到着するまでの間、前記残容量確保条件が成立しているか否かを逐次判断して、前記残容量確保条件を維持するための処理を実行することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のうちいずれか1項に記載の電動車両の制御装置。
