Description
[1] 動物体内から体外に出される気体中のアセトン量を、ケトン食の有効状態を管理するために1回及び/又は複数回測定する、モニタリング装置。
[2] [1]記載の動物がケトン食の摂取が有効な疾患の病者及び/又は病者予備軍者である、ケトン食の有効状態を管理するために1回及び/又は複数回測定する、モニタリング装置。
[3] [1]記載のケトン食の有効状態の管理を、ケトン食の摂取前後の動物体内での代謝に併せてケトン食の摂取を管理するために1回及び/又は複数回測定する、モニタリング装置。
[4] [1]記載のケトン食の有効状態の管理を、ケトン食の有効状態の維持・改善に対する対象者の適性をスクリーニングするために1回及び/又は複数回測定する、モニタリング装置。

Claims (3)
- 動物の体内に摂取されるケトン食の摂取量の情報を取得する摂取情報取得部と、前記動物の体内から体外に出される気体中のアセトン量であるアセトン濃度を測定するアセトン濃度測定部と、前記摂取情報取得部により取得した前記ケトン食の摂取量の情報と、前記アセトン濃度測定部により測定された前記アセトン濃度の情報とに基づいて前記動物による前記ケトン食の代謝状態を判定する判定部と、を有するケトン食モニタリング装置を用いたケトン食摂取量の管理方法であって、
前記アセトン濃度を測定する測定工程と、
前記アセトン濃度の増加率を算出する算出工程と、
前記アセトン濃度の増加率に応じて前記動物にケトン食を摂取させる摂取量を調整する調整工程と、
を含むことを特徴とするケトン食摂取量の管理方法。 - 前記調整工程では、前記アセトン濃度の増加率が予め設定された基準値よりも大きい場合には、前記ケトン食の摂取量を増加させ、前記増加率が前記基準値以下の場合には、前記ケトン食の摂取量を減少させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケトン食摂取量の管理方法。
- 前記測定工程では、前記動物に前記ケトン食を摂取させる前後においてそれぞれ前記アセトン濃度を測定し、
前記算出工程では、前記ケトン食の摂取前後における前記アセトン濃度の差に基づいて前記アセトン濃度の増加率を算出することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のケトン食摂取量の管理方法。
