Claims (4)

自動車シートのシートバック、ヘッドレスト又はシートバック後方の内装部材から膨張展開して該シートの乗員を拘束するエアバッグであって、
該エアバッグは、乗員の前方に膨張展開する前膨張部と、乗員の頭部の両側方で膨張展開する横膨張部とを備え、該前膨張部の左右両側部が該横膨張部の前端部に連なっているエアバッグにおいて、
該前膨張部内が、仕切りパネルによって上室と下室との少なくとも2室に分画されており、該仕切りパネルに、上室から下室へのガス流入を許容し、下室から上室へのガス逆流を阻止又は抑制するワンウェー機構部が設けられており、
前記横膨張部の後部又は前後方向の途中から上方に膨張する上方膨張部が設けられており、
前記上方膨張部の上方への立ち上がり高さは、該上方膨張部の上端が車室天井に当接する高さであり、
前記上方膨張部と前記前膨張部との間の前記横膨張部の内部において、該横膨張部の側面同士を連結するようにテザーパネルが設けられており、
エアバッグ膨張完了状態において、前記仕切りパネルは前記横膨張部の最下部又はそれよりも下位に位置しており、
前記下室からガスを流出させるためのベントホールが設けられており、該ベントホールは所定圧以上になると開裂するフィルムによって閉鎖されていることを特徴とするエアバッグ。
