図9〜10を参照すると、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る凝縮器203が示されている。凝縮器203は、伝熱管34a,34bの配置(パターン)が変更されて、第2の実施形態に係る第1の蒸気通路2V1および第2の蒸気通路2V2が形成されている点を除いて、第1の実施形態の凝縮器3と同じである。第1の実施形態と第2の実施形態との類似点を考慮すると、第1の実施形態の説明および例示は、本明細書で説明する場合を除き、この第2の実施形態にも適用される。さらに、第1の実施形態と第2の実施形態との類似点を考慮して、この第2の実施形態の部材には、第1の実施形態と同一の部材又は機能的に同一の部材と同じ参照番号を使用する。
本発明の範囲を理解する上で、本明細書で使用される「備える」という用語およびその派生語は、述べられた特徴、要素、構成要素、グループ、整数、および/又はステップの存在を指定するオープンエンドの用語であることを意図する。しかし、他の記載されていない特徴、要素、構成要素、グループ、整数および/又はステップの存在を排除しない。前述のことは、用語「含む」、「有する」およびそれらの派生語などの類似の意味を有する単語にも適用される。また、単数形で使用される場合の「部」、「セクション」、「部分」、「部材」又は「要素」という用語は、単一又は複数の二重の意味を有することができる。上記実施形態を説明するために本明細書で使用される場合、以下の方向用語「上部」、「下部」、「上方」、「下方に」、「鉛直」、「水平」、「下方」および「横方向」、ならびに、他の同様の方向用語は、その長手方向中心軸が図4および図5に示すように実質的に水平に配向されているときの、凝縮器のこれらの方向を指す。したがって、本発明を説明するために利用されるこれらの用語は、通常の動作位置で使用されるような凝縮器に関して解釈されるべきである。最後に、本明細書で使用される「実質的に」、「約」および「およそ」などの程度の用語は、最終結果が有意に変化しないような、変更される用語の妥当な量の偏差を意味する。
Claims (11)
- 蒸気圧縮式システムで使用するように適合された凝縮器であって、
少なくともガス冷媒を含む冷媒が流れる冷媒入口と、少なくとも液体冷媒を含む冷媒が流れる冷媒出口と、を有するシェルであって、前記シェルの長手方向中心軸が水平面とほぼ平行に延びるシェルと、
前記シェルの内部に配置される複数の伝熱管を含む管束であって、前記冷媒入口から吐出される冷媒が前記管束に供給され、前記伝熱管は前記シェルの前記長手方向中心軸と略平行に延びる管束と、
を備え、
前記管束中の前記複数の伝熱管は、第1の通路長手方向に沿ってほぼ鉛直に延びる第1の蒸気通路を形成するように配置され、
前記第1の蒸気通路は、前記第1の通路長手方向および前記長手方向中心軸に対して垂直に測定される第1の最小幅を有し、前記第1の最小幅は前記管束の前記伝熱管の管直径より大きく、前記第1の最小幅は前記管直径の4倍より小さく、
前記第1の蒸気通路は、前記管束と前記シェルの長手方向の側壁との間に形成されており、
前記管束は、上部グループの前記伝熱管と、前記上部グループの前記伝熱管の下方に配置される下部グループの前記伝熱管と、を含み、
前記第1の蒸気通路は、前記上部グループの前記伝熱管の存在する領域と前記下部グループの前記伝熱管の存在する領域とにわたって延び、
前記上部グループの前記伝熱管の存在する領域を延びる前記第1の蒸気通路の前記第1の最小幅は、前記下部グループの前記伝熱管の存在する領域を延びる前記第1の蒸気通路の前記第1の最小幅より大きい、

請求項1又は2に記載の凝縮器。 - 前記管束中の前記複数の伝熱管は、第2の通路長手方向に沿ってほぼ鉛直に延びる第2の蒸気通路を形成するようにさらに配置され、
前記第2の蒸気通路は、前記第2の通路長手方向および前記長手方向中心軸に対して垂直に測定される第2の最小幅を有し、前記第2の最小幅は前記管束の前記伝熱管の前記管直径よりも大きく、前記第2の最小幅は前記管直径の4倍より小さい、
