Description
て極細繊維を形成するものであり、無極性ポリマーと極性ポリマーは溶媒に溶かした溶液を電解紡糸することを特徴とするもので、これにより目的を達成するものである。
また、帯電している芯部が鞘部によって被覆されているので、汚れや水分によって芯部の帯電が消失することがなく、劣悪な環境においても長期に亘り性能を維持することができる。また、紡糸と同時に帯電が完了するために別途帯電工程を設ける必要がなく、製造コストを低減できる。
すなわち、本発明によると、繊維を紡糸する過程において繊維を帯電させ、尚且つその帯電を長期に亘り保持することができるため、別途帯電処理を施す必要なく、捕集性能の高いエアフィルタを得ることができる。
(実施の形態1)
図1に示すように、ろ材1は、基材2と帯電繊維3が積層された集塵層4と、カバー材5とを有する。
基材2は、集塵層4を支持する支持体となる部材である。基材2は、スパンボンド法、乾式または湿式法、メルトブローン法、スパンボンド法、エアレイド法などにより製造されたパルプ繊維、樹脂繊維、炭素繊維および無機繊維、またはそれらの少なくとも1つを含んでいる不織布や、樹脂フィルムを割繊・延伸し、積層した不織布、あるいはそれらを貼り合わせて複合化したものから構成される。

Claims (4)
- 繊維径100〜2000nmの極細繊維から成る芯部と、前記芯部の全体を覆うように被覆された鞘部によって構成された芯鞘構造を有する帯電繊維であって、
前記芯部は、体積抵抗率が1016〜1017Ωcmの範囲で、且つ、誘電正接が0.001以下の無極性ポリマーから成り、
前記鞘部は、比誘電率が3以上である有極性ポリマーから成ることを特徴とする帯電繊維。 - 前記無極性ポリマーの少なくとも一部がポリスチレンから成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の帯電繊維。
- 請求項1または2記載の帯電繊維の製造方法であって、
前記芯鞘構造を形成するための二重ノズルを備えた静電紡糸装置で静電紡糸することによって前記極細繊維を形成するものであり、前記無極性ポリマーと前記有極性ポリマーは溶媒に溶かした溶液状態で電解紡糸することを特徴とする帯電繊維の製造方法。 - 前記無極性ポリマーを溶解する溶媒が非プロトン性の極性溶媒であることを特徴とする請求項3記載の帯電繊維の製造方法。
