Description
Claims (8)
- 縫合糸の両リムがノットから延出する縫合糸で形成されたスライディング・ノットおよびオーバーハンド・ノットを含む複数タイプのノットを押圧するために使用可能なノットプッシャーであって、
遠位のノット押圧面で終端する頂壁および底壁を定義している遠位ヘッドと、
前記頂壁と底壁との間に定義されて、前記ノット押圧面の近傍から前記遠位ヘッドに沿って延びるサイド溝であって、その各々は、前記オーバーハンド・ノットの押圧を助けるために前記遠位ヘッドを進める際に縫合糸の両リムの一方を受容するように機能する、サイド溝と、
前記サイド溝内にあり、前記オーバーハンド・ノットを押圧するために前記遠位ヘッドを進める際に、前記サイド溝のそれぞれにある縫合糸のリムを保持するためのサイド溝の縫合糸保持要素と、
を含むノットプッシャー。 - 前記サイド溝の縫合糸保持要素が、弾性のあるサイド溝の縫合糸保持要素を有する、
請求項1に記載のノットプッシャー。 - 前記弾性のあるサイド溝の縫合糸保持要素は、一対の弾性のある縫合糸保持要素を有し、それぞれが、縫合糸のリムが前記サイド溝のそれぞれに受容されることを許容するために閉位置から開位置まで撓む前記頂壁および前記底壁の一方の一部を形成する、
請求項2に記載のノットプッシャー。 - 前記一対の弾性のある縫合糸保持要素は、前記底壁の一部を形成する、
請求項3に記載のノットプッシャー。 - 前記一対の弾性のある縫合糸保持要素は、前記底壁から前記頂壁に向かって突出する一対の突起をそれぞれ有し、これにより、それらの前記壁の間の間隔または間隙を最小限として、前記縫合糸のリムが前記サイド溝のそれぞれから抜け出ることを実質的に防止し、閉位置において前記間隔または間隙が前記縫合糸の幅よりも小さく、前記サイド溝のそれぞれに前記縫合糸を保持して、前記ノットを押圧する過程で前記縫合糸が前記間隙を通過するのを防止する、
請求項4に記載のノットプッシャー。 - 前記弾性のあるサイド溝の縫合糸保持要素は、弾性スナップアームを含む、
請求項3に記載のノットプッシャー。 - 前記一対の弾性のある縫合糸保持要素は、一対の弾性スナップを含み、該一対の弾性スナップの各々は、前記サイド溝のうちの対応する1つに縫合糸の両リムのうちのそれぞれ一方を保持するための、前記サイド溝のうちの1つの一部を定義する、
請求項5に記載のノットプッシャー。 - 前記スライディング・ノットの前進を助けるために前記遠位ヘッドを進める際に縫合糸の両リムの一方を受容するように、前記頂壁に付属する頂壁の縫合糸受け要素を更に有する、
請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のノットプッシャー。
