Abstract
Description
以下、本実施の形態にかかる癌治療装置について、図1を用いて説明する。図1は、癌治療装置100を示した構成図である。癌治療装置100は、光源として酸素分子レーザ101を有している。酸素分子レーザ101は、波長1.27μmのレーザ光L1を発生させる光源である。酸素分子レーザ101から取り出された波長1.27μmのレーザ光L1は、集光レンズ102で集光される。集光レンズ102は、レーザ光L1を光ファイバ106の入射端に集光する。したがって、レーザ光L1は石英製の光ファイバ106に入射する。レーザ光L1は、光ファイバ106内を伝送し、遠方で治療を待っている患者まで伝送される。
実施の形態2にかかる癌治療装置200について、図5を用いて説明する。図5は、癌治療装置200の構成を示す模式図である。本実施の形態では、自然放出増幅光発生器210を用いている点で実施の形態1と異なっている。自然放出増幅光ASEはレーザ光L1とは異なり、集光性が悪いため、光ファイバに入射させるのが困難である。したがって、光学系が実施の形態1と異なっている。具体的には、本実施の形態では、光ファイバが用いられていない。
自然放出増幅光ASEの取り出し後は、バルブ215を開く。真空ポンプ216が、金属パイプ212の内部を排気して、次の動作に備える。なお、バルブ215は常時開いていても良い。その場合は、パワーは低いが連続的に自然放出増幅光ASEが取り出される。
実施の形態3では、自然放出増幅光発生器の構成が、実施の形態2と異なっている。なお、自然放出増幅光発生器以外は、実施の形態2と同様であるため、適宜説明を省略する。実施の形態3にかかる自然放出増幅光発生器220について、図7、図8を用いて説明する。図7は、軸方向に沿った平面を示す模式図であり、図8は軸方向と直交する平面に沿った断面図である。
実施の形態4では、自然放出増幅光発生器の構成が実施の形態2,3と異なっている。図9を用いて、自然放出増幅光発生器230について説明する。図9は、自然放出増幅光発生器230の外観を模式的に示す図である。自然放出増幅光発生器230は、一重項酸素分子をマイクロ波によって発生させている。

Claims (6)
- 体外に配置され、波長1.27μmの光を発生する光源を備え、
前記波長1.27μmの光が一重項酸素分子から発生し、
前記波長1.27μmの光が皮膚を介して癌細胞に照射される癌治療装置。 - 前記光源は、酸素分子レーザであり、
前記波長1.27μmの光が酸素分子レーザから取り出されたレーザ光であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の癌治療装置。 - 前記酸素分子レーザが、アルカリ性溶液と過酸化水素水とを混合した溶液と塩素ガスとを反応させることで前記一重項酸素分子を発生する励起酸素発生器を備え、
前記レーザ光が、前記一重項酸素分子の誘導放出に基づくことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の癌治療装置。 - 前記光源は、自然放出増幅光発生器であり、
前記波長1.27μmの光が一重項酸素分子の自然放出増幅光であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の癌治療装置。 - アルカリ性溶液と過酸化水素水とを混合した溶液と塩素ガスとを反応させることで前記一重項酸素分子を発生する励起酸素発生器と、
前記励起酸素発生器で発生した前記一重項酸素分子が供給される容器と、をさらに備え、
前記容器の長手方向の一端を、波長1.27μmの光を反射する材質で構成し、
前記容器の内側側面が波長1.27μmの光を反射することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の癌治療装置。 - 集光レンズをさらに備え、
前記集光レンズで収束ビームとなった前記波長1.27μmの光が皮膚を介して癌細胞に照射される請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の癌治療装置。
