Description

本発明は、一酸化炭素(CO)および水(H2O)が、バイオリアクター内の多孔性の固体支持体上で増殖し、水性ガスシフト反応(WGS)を触媒することができる微生物によって水素(H2)および二酸化炭素(CO2)に変換される不飽和固体発酵(SSF)プロセスおよびバイオリアクターに関する。

Claims (13)
- CO供給システム、H2O供給システム、流出水再循環システム、ならびにH2回収システムを含む不飽和バイオリアクターであって、
該バイオリアクターが、多孔質固体支持体を充填され、ここで、多孔質固体支持体の少なくとも10%が、約0.01〜約1.0バールの水吸引をもたらし;
バイオリアクターに、
(i)少なくとも20%の粒子が0.1mm〜10mmの直径を有する、粒子;または
(ii)少なくとも10%の材料が0.1mm〜10mmの細孔サイズを有する、スポンジ状材料;または
(iii)少なくとも10%の材料が、0.1mm〜10mmの直径を有する繊維間空間を含む、繊維状材料;または
(iv)(i)〜(iii)の任意の混合物;
を含む固体支持体を装填することにより、前記水吸引レベルが得られ;
および固体支持体に、水性ガスシフト反応を触媒する微生物が接種され;および

- 固体支持体粒子が、バーミキュライトを含む材料混合物、改質バーミキュライトを含む材料混合物、バーミキュライト様材料を含む材料混合物、合成バーミキュライトを含む材料混合物、合成陽イオン交換樹脂、さまざまな種類の泥炭、およびその混合物から選ばれる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のバイオリアクター。

- 不飽和固体発酵により水素を生成する方法であって、
a)請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載のバイオリアクターを提供するステップ;
b)COおよびH2Oを反応器に供給するステップ;
c)COおよびH2Oを水素および二酸化炭素に嫌気的に生物転換するステップ;および
d)バイオリアクターから水素および二酸化炭素を回収するステップ;
を含む方法。 - 不飽和固体発酵プロセスにおいて一酸化炭素および水から水素を発生させるための、多孔質固体支持体の使用であって、
固体支持体の少なくとも10%が、約0.01〜約1.0バールの水吸引をもたらし;
前記水吸引レベルが、バイオリアクターに、
(i)少なくとも20%の粒子が0.1mm〜10mmの直径を有する、粒子;または
(ii)少なくとも10%の材料が0.1mm〜10mmの細孔サイズを有する、スポンジ状材料;または
