実際、付表1に示すように、キセノンとアルゴンは分子量が窒素より大きく、熱伝導率が窒素より低く、ガス混合物中の窒素を2つのいずれかに置き換えたとき、高体温性の特徴を与える。
実際、付表1に示すように、ヘリウムは分子量が窒素より低く、熱伝導率が窒素より高く、ガス混合物中の窒素に置き換えた場合に低体温性が付与される。そのうえ、ヘリウムは臓器保護特性も有する。
− ヘリウム曲線C1及びキセノン曲線C2にそれぞれ位置する点H22及びX22、
− 32℃、33℃、34℃、及び35℃の目標温度に対応する水平な線T32、T33、T34、及びT35
が決定される。
− 体温Tcを33℃に維持することを可能にするヘリウムの割合を表す距離X22−T33、
− 体温を33℃に維持することを可能にするキセノンの割合を表す距離H22−T33、
− 体温を34℃に維持することを可能にするヘリウムの割合を表す距離X22−T34、
− 体温を34℃に維持することを可能にするキセノンの割合を表す距離H22−T34、
− 体温を35℃に維持することを可能にするヘリウムの割合を表す距離X22−T35、
− 体温を35℃に維持することを可能にするキセノンの割合を表す距離H22−T35
が得られる。
実際、曲線C2は関数y=0.3877x+30.075を表し、曲線C3は関数y=0.2328x+32.334を表し、アルゴンはキセノンと比べて高体温性が低い。したがって、本発明による吸入ガス組成物中の不活性ガスの割合は、この組成物に使用されるアルゴン又はキセノンから選択される第1の化合物の品質に応じてさまざまである。

Claims (4)
- 酸素及び不活性ガスの混合物を含む吸入ガス組成物であって、前記不活性ガスの混合物が、
− 高体温性を有するキセノンである第1の化合物、並びに
− 低体温性を有するヘリウムである第2の化合物を含み、
前記不活性ガスの混合物が低体温性であるような前記第1の化合物と前記第2の化合物の割合を有し、
前記組成物は、21〜50%の酸素、39%〜41%のヘリウムおよび15%〜25%のキセノンを含むことを特徴とする吸入ガス組成物。 - 酸素及び不活性ガスの混合物を含む吸入ガス組成物であって、前記不活性ガスの混合物が、
− 高体温性を有するキセノンである第1の化合物、並びに
− 低体温性を有するヘリウムである第2の化合物を含み、
前記不活性ガスの混合物が低体温性であるような前記第1の化合物と前記第2の化合物の割合を有し、
前記組成物は、22%〜30%の酸素、39%〜57%のヘリウムおよび15%〜35%のキセノンを含むことを特徴とする吸入ガス組成物。 - 酸素及び不活性ガスの混合物を含む吸入ガス組成物であって、前記不活性ガスの混合物が、
− 高体温性を有するキセノンである第1の化合物、並びに
− 低体温性を有するヘリウムである第2の化合物を含み、
前記不活性ガスの混合物が低体温性であるような前記第1の化合物と前記第2の化合物の割合を有し、
前記組成物は、23%〜27%の酸素、39%〜59%のヘリウムおよび14%〜36%のキセノンを含むことを特徴とする吸入ガス組成物。 - 19〜21℃の間の吸入温度で患者に投与し、それによって患者の体温を32〜35℃にするために使用する、22〜50%の酸素、39%〜41%のヘリウム、および、15%〜25%のキセノンを含む、吸入ガス組成物。
