Claims (15)
- 被検体の血圧を測定する際に使用するための血圧モニタであって:
前記被検体の身体部分の周囲に配置され、前記身体部分に圧力を加えるために膨張されるよう構成されるカフと;
前記カフ内の前記圧力の測定値を提供するように構成される圧力センサと;
前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積及び/又は前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化を示す出力信号を提供するように構成される、1つ以上の巻線を有するコイルを備えるプレチスモグラフィセンサと;
前記カフ内の前記圧力の測定値と、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積及び/又は前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積の変化を示す前記出力信号から、前記被検体の前記血圧を決定するように構成される処理ユニットと;
を備える、血圧モニタ。 - 前記コイルは、前記カフの下の前記身体部分が前記1つ以上の巻線内に位置し、かつ前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化が前記巻線の断面積を変化させるよう、前記被検体の前記身体部分の周囲に配置されるように構成される、
請求項1に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記コイル内のワイヤは、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積が変化するときに前記コイルの巻線が伸張又は圧縮されることを可能にするよう導電性の伸縮性材料から形成される、
請求項2に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサの前記出力信号は、前記コイルのインダクタンスの測定値を含む、
請求項2又は3に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記コイルは、オシレータの共振回路の一部であり、前記プレチスモグラフィセンサの前記出力信号は、前記オシレータの周波数の測定値を含む、
請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記コイル内のワイヤは、導電性の伸縮性材料又は圧電材料から形成され、前記プレチスモグラフィセンサの前記出力信号は、前記コイルの抵抗の測定値を含む、
請求項2乃至5のいずれかに記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサは、各々が1つ以上の巻線を有する2つ以上のコイルを備え、前記2つ以上のコイルは、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化が前記2つ以上のコイルの間の距離を変化させるよう、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の周囲に配置されるように構成され、前記プレチスモグラフィセンサの前記出力信号は、前記コイルの相互インダクタンスの測定値を含む、
請求項1に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサは、前記カフ内に統合される、
請求項2乃至7のいずれかに記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサは、前記カフの下にある前記身体部分の周囲に配置されるように構成される、
請求項2乃至7のいずれかに記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサは、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の周囲に配置されるように構成される伸縮性バンドの一部である、
請求項9に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記コイル内のワイヤは、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積が変化するときに前記コイルの巻線が伸張又は圧縮されることを可能にするよう前記伸縮性バンド内に配置される、
請求項10に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサは、第1コイルと第2コイルを含み、各コイルが1つ以上の巻線を有し、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化が前記第1コイルと前記第2コイルとの間の距離を変化させるように、前記第1コイルは前記カフの内面に配置され、前記第2コイルは前記第1コイルとは反対に前記カフの外面に配置され、前記プレチスモグラフィセンサの前記出力信号は、前記第1コイル及び前記第2コイルの相互インダクタンスの測定値を含む、
請求項1に記載の血圧モニタ。 - 被検体の血圧を測定する方法であって:
前記被検体の身体部分の周囲にカフを配置し、前記身体部分に圧力を加えるよう前記カフを膨張させるステップと;
圧力センサを使用して前記カフ内の前記圧力を測定するステップと;
1つ以上の巻線を有するコイルを備えるプレチスモグラフィセンサを使用して、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積及び/又は動脈拍動に起因する前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化を測定するステップと;
前記カフ内の前記圧力の測定値と、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積及び/又は動脈拍動に起因する前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積の変化の測定値から、前記被検体の前記血圧を決定するステップと;
を備える、方法。 - 当該方法は、
前記カフの下の前記身体部分が前記1つ以上の巻線内に位置し、かつ前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化が前記巻線の断面積を変化させるよう、前記プレチスモグラフィセンサを前記被検体の前記身体部分の周囲に配置するステップ、
を更に備える、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記プレチスモグラフィセンサは、各々が1つ以上の巻線を有する2つ以上のコイルを備え、当該方法は、
前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化が前記2つ以上のコイルの間の距離を変化させるように、前記2つ以上のコイルを前記カフの下の身体部分の周囲に配置するステップ、
を更に備え、前記カフの下の前記身体部分の体積及び/又は前記カフの下の前記身体部分の前記体積の変化を測定するステップは、前記のコイルの相互インダクタンスを測定することを含む、
請求項13に記載の方法。
