光源を支持するとともに当該光源に接続する電気回路が設けられる基板と、
前記基板に直接締結され前記光源が発する光を通過させるレンズと、
前記レンズが固定されて当該レンズ及び前記基板を支持しながら車体に取り付けられ光源が発する光の車室内側への侵入を抑制する化粧カバーとを具備し、
前記化粧カバーは、前記バックドアの窓の上縁近傍と車室内側との間を遮り、
その化粧カバーにおける前記ウィンドウガラスに近接する部位に前記レンズ及び前記基板を支持させ、前記基板における前記光源の反対側と前記化粧カバーとの間に所定寸法の空隙を形成し、その空隙の大きさを光源と前記レンズとの間の空隙よりも大きくとっている車両用灯具の取付構造。
