Claims (11)
- 患者の血管にアクセスするための拡張器であって、
長手方向軸に沿って延びる管状の遠位部材であって、先細の遠位端から削ぎ落とし部分を有する近位端までの最大外径を有する管状の遠位部材と、
削ぎ落とし部分を有する遠位端から近位端まで長手方向に延びる近位部材と、
前記近位部材の遠位端の削ぎ落とし部分と前記遠位部材の近位端の削ぎ落とし部分との重なりによって形成された、移行領域における迅速交換ポートと、
前記迅速交換ポートと前記遠位部材の遠位端との間に長手方向に延びる内腔と
を備える拡張器。 - 前記迅速交換ポートは、前記遠位部材の削ぎ落とし部分と前記近位部材の削ぎ落とし部分の対向する角度によって形成された開口部を含む、請求項1に記載の拡張器。
- 前記近位部材はハイポチューブを含む、請求項1に記載の拡張器。
- 前記近位部材は、前記遠位部材の最大外径に対して縮小された直径を有し、前記近位部材の削ぎ落とし部分は、前記遠位部材の投影された周面内で前記遠位部材の削ぎ落とし部分に同軸に重なる、請求項1に記載の拡張器。
- 前記近位部材の削ぎ落とし部分は、前記内腔内で前記遠位部材の削ぎ落とし部分を過ぎて遠位側に延びる、請求項4に記載の拡張器。
- 移行管を更に備え、前記近位部材の少なくとも削ぎ落とし部分は、前記移行管内に同軸に配置され、前記移行管は、前記遠位部材の少なくとも削ぎ落とし部分に重なり、前記遠位部材の投影された周面内に同軸に配置される、請求項4に記載の拡張器。
- 前記移行管は、前記内腔内で前記遠位部材の削ぎ落とし部分を過ぎて遠位側に延びる、請求項6に記載の拡張器。
- 前記移行管は、前記近位部材の少なくとも削ぎ落とし部分及び前記遠位部材の少なくとも削ぎ落とし部分に熱溶着される、請求項6に記載の拡張器。
- 前記移行管は、近位端から遠位端まで完全な形である、請求項6に記載の拡張器。
- 前記移行管の遠位端は、前記近位部材の削ぎ落とし部分に対応するように削ぎ落とされている、請求項6に記載の拡張器。
- 前記遠位部材は、前記近位部材よりも可撓性が高い、請求項1に記載の拡張器。
