Claims (4)
- 焼結鉱を製造する焼結機と、該焼結機で製造された新生焼結鉱を破砕して粒度調整を行うためのクラッシャーと、該クラッシャーで粒度調整された新生焼結鉱を、上部に吸引式のクーラーファンを設置するか、下部に押し込み式のクーラーファンを設置して冷却するクーラー装置を備えた新生焼結鉱処理ラインを利用して、新生焼結鉱の顕熱によって高炉原料を乾燥する乾燥方法であって、
前記高炉原料を前記上部に吸引式のクーラーファンを設置するか、下部に押し込み式のクーラーファンを設置して冷却する排熱回収ゾーンである第1ゾーンと、非排熱回収ゾーンである第2ゾーン〜第4ゾーンとを有するクーラー装置における、前記高炉原料を排熱回収に影響を及ぼさない第2ゾーンと第3ゾーンの間に、高炉原料の乾燥に必要な熱量Q1と、新生焼結鉱の顕熱によって高炉原料に与えられる熱量Q2とを比較してQ2≧Q1となるように前記高炉原料の量を調整して装入し、新生焼結鉱の顕熱によって前記高炉原料を乾燥することを特徴とする高炉原料の乾燥方法。 - 前記クーラー装置内では、新生焼結鉱の層の上部に前記高炉原料の層を形成して、新生焼結鉱の層を通過した空気が前記高炉原料の層を通過するようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高炉原料の乾燥方法。
- 前記クーラー装置に、新生焼結鉱から排熱を回収する排熱回収装置が取り付けられている場合は、前記高炉原料を前記排熱回収装置の取り付け位置より下流側に装入することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の高炉原料の乾燥方法。
- 前記高炉原料が、ヤード焼結鉱であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の高炉原料の乾燥方法。
