Claims (15)
- 膨張式装置にトレースを適用するための機器であって、
内部で長手方向に延びるキャビティと壁とを有する本体と、
前記壁を貫通して前記キャビティ内へ通じる2つ以上の長手方向に延びる開口であって、近位端及び遠位端を有する長尺シャフトと、前記長尺シャフトの前記遠位端によって支持される膨張可能部とを備える膨張式装置であって、前記キャビティ内に配置される膨張式装置が、前記壁によって部分的に覆われるとともに前記2つ以上の開口によって部分的に覆われないようになっている、2つ以上の長手方向に延びる開口と、
を備え、
前記2つ以上の開口がそれぞれ、前記壁によって覆われる前記膨張式装置の部分に対する導電性材料の適用を阻止しつつ覆われない前記膨張式装置の部分に対する前記導電性材料の適用を可能にするように構成され、前記2つ以上の開口のそれぞれは、前記2つ以上の開口のうちの他の開口から離間している、機器。 - 前記本体が、前記キャビティを形成するために互いに係合するように構成される第1の部分及び第2の部分を備える請求項1に記載の機器。
- 前記2つ以上の開口がそれぞれ電極部及び導体部を備える請求項1又は2に記載の機器。
- 前記電極部が、前記膨張式装置の前記膨張可能部に隣接して配置されるように構成され、前記導体部が、前記膨張式装置の前記シャフトに隣接して配置されるように構成される請求項3に記載の機器。
- 膨張式装置に導電トレースを適用するための方法であって、
内部で長手方向に延びるキャビティと壁とを有するマスキング固定具内に膨張式装置を配置するステップであって、前記膨張式装置が、近位端及び遠位端を有する長尺シャフトと、前記長尺シャフトの前記遠位端によって支持される膨張可能部とを備え、前記マスキング固定具が、前記壁を貫通して前記キャビティ内へ通じる2つ以上の長手方向に延びる開口を含み、前記キャビティ内に配置される前記膨張式装置が前記壁によって部分的に覆われるとともに前記2つ以上の開口によって部分的に覆われないようになっており、前記2つ以上の開口のそれぞれは、前記2つ以上の開口のうちの他の開口から離間している、ステップと、
前記2つ以上の開口のうちの第1及び第2の開口において前記膨張式装置の覆われていない部分に対して導電性材料を適用するステップと、
前記マスキング固定具からの前記膨張式装置の除去中に前記導電性材料が著しく変化しない状態にあるとき、前記膨張式装置を前記マスキング固定具から除去するステップであって、前記膨張式装置が、その上の形成された別個の第1及び第2の導電トレースを有するようになり、前記第1及び第2の導電トレースのそれぞれは、前記第1及び第2の導電トレースの他方とは異なる回転方向に配置されている、ステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記マスキング固定具が、互いに係合して前記キャビティを形成するように構成される第1の部分及び第2の部分を備える請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記2つ以上の開口がそれぞれ電極部及び導体部を備える請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- 前記電極部が、前記膨張式装置の前記膨張可能部に隣接して配置されるように構成され、前記導体部が、前記膨張式装置の前記シャフトに隣接して配置されるように構成される請求項7に記載の方法。
- 導電性材料を適用する前記ステップの後に、前記膨張式装置の少なくとも一部に誘電体材料を適用するステップを更に含む請求項5〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 膨張式装置にトレースを適用するための機器であって、
内部で長手方向に延びるキャビティと壁とを有する本体と、
前記壁を貫通して前記キャビティ内へ通じる2つ以上の長手方向に延びる開口であって、近位端及び遠位端を有する長尺シャフトと、前記長尺シャフトの前記遠位端によって支持される膨張可能部とを備える、前記キャビティ内に配置される膨張式装置が、前記壁によって部分的に覆われるとともに前記2つ以上の開口によって部分的に覆われないようになっている、2つ以上の長手方向に延びる開口と、
を備え、
前記2つ以上の開口がそれぞれ、前記壁によって覆われる前記膨張式装置の部分に対する流動可能材料の適用を阻止しつつ覆われない前記膨張式装置の部分に対する前記材料の適用を可能にするように構成され、前記2つ以上の開口のそれぞれは、前記2つ以上の開口のうちの他の開口から離間しており、前記材料が、流動可能状態で適用されて非流動可能状態又は略非流動可能状態へ変化可能であるように構成され、前記膨張式装置は、前記材料が非流動可能状態又は略非流動可能状態へ変化した後に、前記キャビティから除去可能となる、機器。 - 前記材料が導電性材料である請求項10に記載の機器。
- 前記材料が非導電性材料である請求項10に記載の機器。
- 前記材料が抵抗材料である請求項10に記載の機器。
- 前記材料が、噴霧、霧化、スパッタリング、又は、蒸着のうちの少なくとも1つによって適用されるように構成される請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の機器。
- 前記材料が放射線不透過性材料である請求項10に記載の機器。
