Description
図1は、実施形態に係る鋼管用ねじ継手1の概略構成を示す縦断面図である。縦断面とは、ねじ継手1の管軸CLを含む平面で切断された断面をいう。ねじ継手1は、インテグラル型のねじ継手であってもよいし、カップリング型のねじ継手であってもよい。
本実施形態に係るねじ継手1は、ピンショルダ面11及びボックスショルダ面21と、楔型ねじで構成された雄ねじ部13及び雌ねじ部23とを有する。締結状態では、ピンショルダ面11がボックスショルダ面21に当接し、且つ、雄ねじ部13及び雌ねじ部23の挿入面133,233同士及び荷重面134,234同士が接触する。このように、ねじ継手1では、締結完了時にショルダリング及びねじ部のロッキングが発生する。これにより、ねじ継手1に荷重が作用した際、ショルダ部とねじ部との間に配置されたシール部のたわみが生じにくくなり、ピンシール面12とボックスシール面22との接触力が増加することを期待することができる。さらに、ピンショルダ面11及びボックスショルダ面21のショルダ角が4°以上であるため、優れた密封性能を得ることができる。
Claims (3)
- 鋼管用ねじ継手であって、
鋼管本体に接続された管状のピンと、
前記ピンが挿入されて前記ピンと締結される管状のボックスと、
を備え、
前記ピンは、
前記ピンの先端部に設けられる環状面であり、外周縁部が内周縁部よりも前記ピンの先端側に位置するように傾斜するピンショルダ面と、
前記ピンの外周面に設けられ、楔型ねじで構成される雄ねじ部と、
前記ピンショルダ面と前記雄ねじ部との間において前記ピンの外周面に設けられるピンシール面と、
を有し、
前記ピンショルダ面と前記雄ねじ部との間において前記ピンシール面を含む前記ピンの径方向の肉厚は、前記雄ねじ部から前記ピンショルダ面に向かって増加したのちに減少しており、
前記ボックスは、
前記ピンショルダ面に対応して前記ボックスの奥端部に設けられる環状面であり、外周縁部が内周縁部よりも前記ボックスの奥端側に位置するように傾斜するボックスショルダ面と、
前記雄ねじ部に対応して前記ボックスの内周面に設けられ、楔型ねじで構成される雌ねじ部と、
前記ピンシール面に対応して前記ボックスの内周面に設けられるボックスシール面と、
を有し、
締結状態において、前記ピンショルダ面が前記ボックスショルダ面と接触し、前記雄ねじ部の挿入面及び荷重面がそれぞれ前記雌ねじ部の挿入面及び荷重面と接触し、且つ、前記ピンシール面が前記ボックスシール面と接触し、
非締結状態において前記ピンショルダ面及び前記ボックスショルダ面の各々が管軸に垂直な面となす角度であるショルダ角は、4°以上である、ねじ継手。 - 請求項1に記載のねじ継手であって、
前記ショルダ角は、40°以上である、ねじ継手。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のねじ継手であって、
前記ショルダ角は、60°以下である、ねじ継手。
