線幅[画素]={(1.2*インク濡れ性[ミクロン]*解像度[dpi]/25.4)/1000+0.5}の最大整数であるが、少なくとも1
グレースケール値=(セル内の黒の画素数)/(セル内の全画素数)
の式によって定義されるセルのグレースケールが変化するが、ここで、その変化は、考慮されるクラス内の除外範囲の画素数の増加に反比例する。そのため、上述の結合コードによって与えられた本発明のセキュリティ要素は、潜在二次情報に関連付けることが可能な上記で定義されたグレースケール値の形の固有特徴を呈し、セキュリティ要素のプリントアウトと、得られた印書のデジタル表現の生成後、前記固有特徴を統計的に分析することができる。
Claims (11)
- 印刷によって印書として印刷基材に施されるセキュリティ要素であって、
一次情報を伝え、380〜750nmの波長域にある可視光において肉眼で検出可能な一次情報を伝えるコードと、
二次情報を伝えるコードであって、前記一次情報を伝えるコードと結合され、肉眼で検出不可能であり、一次情報を伝えるコードの印書から除外される範囲である除外範囲によって伝えられ、印書から直接には復元不可能な二次情報を伝えるコードと、を含み、
前記除外範囲の少なくとも1つの平面方向における最大寸法は2〜40ミクロンであり、
前記二次情報を伝えるコードの最大寸法は、前記印刷基材に印刷される前記二次情報を伝えるコードが歪むように、前記印刷の解像度に基づいて選択され、前記二次情報を伝えるコードは、前記印書から直接には復元不可能であると共に、前記一次情報を伝えるコードをメッシュによってセグメント化したセルに含まれる複数の画素に、前記除外範囲となる画素を形成することにより導入されるものであり、
前記二次情報を伝えるコードは、380〜750nmの波長域内の可視光において撮られた、前記印書のデジタル表現における前記セキュリティ要素のセルのグレースケール値によって、統計的に分析可能な特徴として割り当てられる
ことで得られるものである
ことを特徴とするセキュリティ要素。 - 前記一次情報を伝えるコードは、バーコード、QRコード(登録商標)、Data Matrixコード、及び、非公開コーディングによる一意に展開したポイントコードから成る群から選択される
請求項1に記載のセキュリティ要素。 - 前記印刷基材は装飾的な図版を備え、前記一次情報を伝えるコードは前記図版に隠されている
請求項1に記載のセキュリティ要素。 - 前記除外範囲を伝えるコードは、前記一次情報を伝えるコードの印刷されない範囲で生成される
請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のセキュリティ要素。 - 前記印刷基材は、紙幣、有価証券、インボイス、製品包装、身分証明書/ラベル、カバー、入場券、許可証、個人用文書、証明書、もしくは、何か他の同様の文書、または、コピー防止を備えるべき対象の表面から成る群から選択される
請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のセキュリティ要素。 - 前記印刷基材と、前記印刷によって前記印刷基材上に施された、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1つのセキュリティ要素と、を含む
ことを特徴とする印刷物。 - 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のセキュリティ要素を有する印刷物であって、セキュリティ要素の除外範囲のサイズがクラスごとに増加するように構成されている印刷物の真正性を検査する方法であって、
前記二次情報を伝えるコードに基づく、前記印書のデジタル表現におけるセルのグレースケール平均値の類別を行い、所定のクラスに分類するステップと、
前記クラスごとに得られたセルのグレースケール平均値からの傾向を生成するステップと、
前記傾向が、セルのグレースケール平均値の増加が維持される場合に、前記印刷物の真正性を肯定するステップと、
前記傾向が、セルのグレースケール平均値の増加が維持されない場合に、前記印刷物の真正性を否定するステップとを有する
ことを特徴とする印刷物の検査方法。 - 前記印書のデジタル表現は、300〜1200dpiの解像度の撮像装置によって生成される
請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記一次情報を伝えるコードが、前記コードの前記記録された画像を前記グレースケール画像に変換する前に、装飾的な図版に隠されている場合、前記コードの前記画像を前記装飾的な図版から分離するステップを有する
請求項7または8に記載の方法。 - 前記クラスの分析は、前記クラスの対の2標本t検定によって行われる
請求項7ないし9のいずれかに記載の方法。 - コーディングアルゴリズムは、除外範囲を形成する画素に基づく
請求項7ないし10のいずれかに記載の方法。
