Traditionally, collars have been used to keep pets (especially dogs) tied up. However, in order to reduce the burden on pets, a body ring that mainly supports the body has been proposed. The body ring according to the present invention will be described below with reference to drawings and examples. A connecting band 20 is wound around the intersection 10c. The connecting band 20 is a single band-shaped member. The same material as the main body belt 10 can be preferably used. The length is shorter than the main body belt 10. This is because the length required to surround the main body belt 10 intersected at the intersection 10c is sufficient.

A fastening ring 22 is provided at one end of the connecting band 20. The fastening ring 22 has an annular shape provided on one end side of the connecting band 20. Specifically, a metal annular component such as a metal O-ring or D-ring is preferably used. The fastening ring 22 does not have to use a metal annular part. For example, one end of the connecting band 20 may be formed in an arc shape to form the fastening ring 22.

One end (fastening ring 22) of the connecting band 20 passes through both the annular portion 10La and the annular portion 10Lb and surrounds the intersection 10c. It may be said that the connecting band 20 wraps around the intersection 10c. The other end of the connecting band 20 passes through the fastening ring 22. As a result, if the other end of the connecting band 20 is pulled, the connecting band 20 narrows down the intersection 10c. A connecting ring 24 is fixed to the other end of the connecting band 20. One end 30a of the bridge band 30 is fixed to the back side of the upper belt 10a in front of the intersection 10c, and the other end 30b is fixed to the back side of the upper belt 10a after the intersection 10c.

As a result, at the intersection 10c, the bridge-shaped band 30, the connecting band 20 (lower side), the lower belt 10b, the upper belt 10a, and the connecting band 20 (upper side) overlap from the back side. Therefore, the bridge-shaped belt 30 comes into contact with the intersection 10c.

Next, the operation of the body ring 1 having the above configuration will be described. FIG. 3 shows a method of mounting the body ring 1. The length between the male portion 12a and the female portion 12b is adjusted by the length adjusting unit 14. After being adjusted by the length adjusting portion 14, the annular portion 10La and the annular portion 10Lb (see FIG. 3B) are wrapped around the pet's neck and torso, respectively (FIG. 3A).

First, the male-female connector 12 is released, the annular portion 10La is made slightly larger than the pet's neck, and the ring is turned around the pet's neck. Then, while squeezing the annular portion 10La, the size of the pet's neck is adjusted. Arrange the intersection 10c so that it is on the back of the pet. Next, the length adjustment of the main body belt 10 will be described with reference to FIG. As already mentioned, it is assumed that the length between the male part 12a and the female part 12b has been adjusted by the length adjusting unit 14 so as to fit the pet.

Once the length of the body ring 1 with respect to the pet to be worn is determined, the fine adjustment at the time of mounting or readjustment may be the adjustment of the trade-off between the length of the neck circumference and the length of the waist circumference. In other words, either squeeze the neck and loosen the waist, or loosen the neck and squeeze the waist.

In the body ring 1 according to the present invention, since the upper belt 10a and the lower belt 10b are not fixed at the intersection 10c, the size of the annular portion 10La and the annular portion 10Lb can be adjusted very easily by loosening the connecting band 20. Then, when the adjustment is completed, the intersection 10c is fixed by pulling the connecting ring 24 and tightening the connecting band 20. As described above, although the body ring 1 according to the present invention has a simple structure, fine adjustment is extremely easy. Further, once the connecting band 20 is squeezed, it hardly loosens naturally due to the friction between the intersection 10c and the connecting band 20, which is substantially the same as being fixed. Further, there is no metal portion on the back side of the intersection 10c of the body ring 1, and if the male-female connector 12 and the buckle 14a are guarded with a flexible material such as silicon, the stress on the pet is low.
