Claims (10)
- 近位端、遠位端、及びこれらの間を延びる内腔を含むステアリング可能カテーテルと、 前記ステアリング可能カテーテルの前記内腔内に摺動可能に配置された拡張可能−折畳可能骨組と、
前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組の面の周りに担持された複数の電極と、を含み、
前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組は、複数の可撓性の湾曲長手部材を備え、前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組が拡張構成にある時に、前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組が複数の異なるサイズ又は複数の異なる形状の膀胱に一致するよう構成されるように、各長手部材の可撓性がこの長手部材の長さに沿って変化し又は剛性が上記長手部材の長さに沿って変化し、又はこれらの両方が上記長手部材の長さに沿って変化し、前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組は、さらに、引き込みによる負圧を生じる開口部を備え、前記開口部は前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組上で前記電極に隣接して配置されることを特徴とする医療デバイス。 - 前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組は、前記ステアリング可能カテーテルの前記内腔内に配置されない時に予め決められた形状をとる形状記憶材料から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記拡張可能−折畳可能骨組は、湾曲形状をとる形状記憶材料から形成された前記複数の可撓性の湾曲長手部材を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記複数の可撓性の湾曲長手部材を横方向外向きに付勢するための内部支持体を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記複数の可撓性の湾曲長手部材を横方向外向きに付勢するための前記内部支持体は、追加の拡張可能骨組又は膨張可能バルーンであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記複数の電極の各々が、前記骨組が拡張構成にある時に前記膀胱の壁と接触するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 複数の導電ワイヤを更に含み、
前記複数の導電ワイヤのうちの各々の第1の端部が、前記複数の電極のうちの異なる1つに電気的に結合される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の医療デバイス。 - 前記複数の導電ワイヤのうちの各々の第2の端部が、アブレーションエネルギ源に電気的に結合されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記複数の導電ワイヤのうちの各々の第2の端部が、電気活動処理システムに電気的に結合されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記複数の電極の各々が、感知電極、マッピング電極、刺激電極、アブレーション電極のうちの1又は2以上として作用するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の医療デバイス。
