Claims (6)
- 流体プリントヘッドであって、
前記流体プリントヘッドから流体が滴の形状で吐出されるように前記流体中で気泡を核生成させるべく駆動される複数のヒーター素子と、
各々がプリンタコントローラに従って前記複数のヒーター素子のうちの対応する1つを選択的に駆動する複数の駆動素子と、
複数の滴検出セルが備わった滴検出システムであって、各滴検出セルが、滴形成に際して起こる前記複数のヒーター素子のうちの対応する1つの電気抵抗の変化を検出する滴検出システムと、を備え、
前記複数の駆動素子の各々が、ゲート、ソースおよびドレインを含むMOSFET駆動素子であり、
各滴検出セルが、対応する駆動素子の前記ドレインに電気的に接続され、対応する当該駆動素子の前記ドレインでの電圧勾配変化を検出する
流体プリントヘッド。 - 各滴検出セルが、前記電圧勾配変化の検出後に電力を対応するヒーター素子から除去するように構成されたコントローラを含む
請求項1に記載の流体プリントヘッド。 - 各滴検出セルがサンプリング回路および勾配検出回路を含む
請求項1または2に記載の流体プリントヘッド。 - 前記サンプリング回路がスイッチトキャパシタ回路を含む
請求項3に記載の流体プリントヘッド。 - 前記サンプリング回路がA/D回路を含む
請求項3に記載の流体プリントヘッド。 - プリントヘッドの複数の駆動素子の作動を制御する方法であって、
各駆動素子が、前記プリントヘッドから流体が滴の形状で吐出されるように複数のヒーター素子のうちの対応する1つを選択的に駆動して前記流体中で気泡を核生成させるものであり、
滴形成に際して起こる前記複数のヒーター素子のうちの対応する1つの電気抵抗の変化を検出するステップと、
前記検出に基づいて前記複数のヒーター素子のうちの対応する1つを制止するステップと、を含み、
前記複数の駆動素子の各々が、ゲート、ソースおよびドレインを含むMOSFET駆動素子であり、
前記検出するステップが、対応する駆動素子の前記ドレインでの電圧勾配変化を検出するステップを含む
方法。
