Description
現在の特許出願は、2014年10月28日に提出された米国仮特許出願第62/069、486号の利益を主張するものであり、および米国仮出願番号2014年10月30日に出願された米国特許出願第62/072、724号に記載されており、その各々の内容は、その全体が本明細書へ参照され、組み込まれる。
本明細書で説明する拡散素子78の実施形態は、円錐台、レンズ、球体、ピラミッド、逆円錐台、逆ピラミッドなどを含む様々な形状のいずれかであってもよい。さらに、1組の拡散素子78は、2つ以上の異なる形状の拡散素子の組み合わせを含んでもよい。拡散素子78は、表面パターニングまたは粗面化、拡散素子78を対応する層60、層64などに溶着融合するような任意の手法を用いて形成してもよい。
一実施形態では、メッシュ148は、紫外線源24によって行われる治療と組み合わせて作用させるために抗生物質ゼリー等の抗菌性化学物質および医薬軟膏を含んでもよい。
Claims (23)
- 装置であって、
第1の面と第2の面とを有する基板と、
前記基板の前記第1の面上に形成され、対象物に接着するように構成された接着層と、
前記接着層と重ならずに前記基板の前記第1の面に形成された紫外線透過領域と、
前記基板の前記第2の面から紫外線が入射され、前記紫外線透過領域を通って前記対象物の表面上に前記紫外線を出射するように構成された紫外線源と、を備え、
前記紫外線透過領域は、前記対象物に付着した前記接着層に対して処理対象となる前記対象物の表面に隣接して配置されるものであり、
前記第2の面は、前記基板の側面であり、
前記基板は、入射した前記紫外線を前記紫外線透過領域から出射するように導波させる構造を有し、
前記基板は、多層光ガイド構造の光ガイド層を含み、
前記光ガイド層の前記多層光ガイド構造が、前記基板と交差する方向に延びる複数の細孔を有する複数の光拡散素子を含む、
装置。 - 前記基板の前記第2の面に形成された紫外線透過窓を有し、
前記紫外線源は、前記第2の面に接続され、
前記紫外線は、前記紫外線透過窓を通って前記基板に入射される、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記基板が紫外線透過性材料を含む、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記紫外線透過性材料が、EFEP、FEP、PTFE、ECTFE、PCTFE、PFA、PVDF、ETFE、THV、LDPE及びMFAからなる群から選択される透明フッ素ポリマーを含む、
請求項3に記載の装置。 - 前記接着層および前記紫外線透過領域を覆う前記基板の前記第1の面上に配置された除去可能な保護パッドをさらに備え、
前記基板の前記第1の面からの前記保護パッドの除去とは、前記接着層と対象物の表面に塗布するための紫外線透過領域層とを露出させることである、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の面と前記第2の面とは、直交して配置される、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記光ガイド層は、前記第1の面側に設けられた第1ガイド層及び前記第1ガイド層と対向して配置された第2ガイド層を有し、
前記第1ガイド層は透過性を有し、
前記第2ガイド層は反射性を有する、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記紫外線源を固定するように構成され、前記基板の前記第2の面に取り付けられた、少なくとも1つの接着ストラップをさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記基板の前記第2の面は、所定の配向角度で前記紫外線源を受けるように形成された開口部を含む、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記紫外線源は、前記開口部を介し前記基板に一体的に埋め込まれている、
請求項9に記載の装置。 - 前記紫外線源に光学的に接続される光学素子をさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記紫外線源に接続され、前記対象物の表面が処理されている間の動作を制御する制御モジュールをさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記紫外線源および前記制御モジュールに接続されたユーザ入力システムをさらに備え、
前記ユーザ入力システムは、処理の開始を要求するユーザ入力を受信してこれに応答し、前記紫外線源および前記制御モジュールによる前記対象物の表面の処理を開始するように構成され、処理の終了を要求するユーザ入力を受信してこれに応答し処理を終了する、
請求項12に記載の装置。 - 第1の面と、第2の面と、前記第1の面と前記第2の面との間の基板内部に埋め込まれた紫外線透過領域と、を有する基板を有し、前記紫外線透過領域は、前記基板の前記第1の面で周囲に隣接する表面部分を含み、
前記基板の前記第1の面上に形成され、対象物に接着するように構成された接着層と、
前記基板の前記第2の面から紫外線が入射されるとともに前記紫外線透過領域を介して前記基板の前記第1の面の周囲に向けて、かつ処理を受ける対象物の表面上に前記紫外線が出射するように構成された紫外線源と、
前記紫外線源を基板に固定するように構成された留め具と、をさらに含み、
前記第2の面は、前記基板の側面であり、
前記基板は、入射した前記紫外線を前記紫外線透過領域から出射するように導波させる構造を有し、
前記基板は、多層光ガイド構造の光ガイド層を含み、
前記光ガイド層の前記多層光ガイド構造が、前記基板と交差する方向に延びる複数の細孔を有する複数の光拡散素子を含む、
接着処理装置。 - 前記紫外線源を固定するように構成され、前記基板の前記第2の面に取り付けられた少なくとも1つの接着ストラップをさらに備える、
請求項14に記載の接着処理装置。 - 前記第1の面と前記第2の面とは、直交して配置される、
請求項14に記載の接着処理装置。 - 前記光ガイド層は前記紫外線源に動作可能に接続される、

前記基板の前記第1の面上に形成され、対象物に接着するように構成された接着層と、
前記接着層と重ならずに前記基板の前記第1の面に形成された紫外線透過領域と、
前記基板の前記第2の面に形成された開口部と、
前記開口部内に配置され、前記対象物の表面を処理するように構成された紫外線処理システムと、を備え、
前記紫外線処理システムは、前記対象物の表面に紫外線を出射するように構成された紫外線源を含み、
前記第2の面は、前記基板の側面であり、
前記基板は、入射した前記紫外線を前記紫外線透過領域から出射するように導波させる構造を有し
前記基板は、多層光ガイド構造の光ガイド層を含み、
前記光ガイド層の前記多層光ガイド構造が、前記基板と交差する方向に延びる複数の細孔を有する複数の光拡散素子を含む、
自己接着処理装置。 - 前記紫外線処理システムの上に配置され、前記基板の前記第2の面から前記紫外線が漏れるのを防ぐよう構成されたキャップ層をさらに備える、
