Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an injection molding die provided with a hot runner system for feeding a molten resin supplied from a nozzle of an injection molding machine into a cavity of a mold while maintaining the molten resin at a high temperature.
The hot runner system has a mold structure including a manifold having a runner serving as a molten resin passage therein and a runner bush for supplying the molten resin from the manifold to the cavity side of the mold. For example, an injection molding die including a hot runner system as described in
In this injection molding die, a manifold is arranged on a fixed die with an appropriate gap, and a sprue for connecting a nozzle of an injection molding machine and a radial branch from the sprue are connected to the manifold. A plurality of runners are provided, the tips of which communicate with the runner bushes, and a heater for heating and retaining the temperature of the molten resin flowing in the runners along these runners is built in.
Further, a pressure receiving piece for preventing the manifold from being deformed by the pressure from the nozzle of the injection molding machine is provided below the sprue in the gap between the fixed mold and the manifold. The pressure receiving piece also has a heat insulating function of preventing heat generated from the manifold from being transmitted to the fixed mold.
On the other hand, the runner bush is arranged in a fixed mold and has a resin passage for injecting the molten resin flowing from the runner of the manifold into the cavity of the mold. A valve pin that moves up and down by a cylinder installed above is inserted, and the tip of this valve pin is configured to open and close the gate of the resin passage opening toward the cavity.
The upper end of the runner bush projects from the upper surface of the fixed mold into the gap between the fixed mold and the manifold, and the upper end surface of the runner bush is in close contact with the lower surface of the end of the manifold. A heat insulating ring is provided in the gap so as to surround the upper end of the bush. Further, a flange portion having a bolt insertion hole for fixing the manifold to the fixed mold with bolts is provided at the end of the manifold.
The injection molding die equipped with the hot runner system configured as described above, when operating the injection molding machine, heats the manifold by the heater built into the manifold to raise the temperature of the manifold and the liner of the manifold through the sprue. Start up until the molten resin supplied inside reaches a predetermined temperature that can maintain the melting temperature, and then fill the molten resin from the nozzle of the injection molding machine into the mold cavity through the sprue, runner and runner bush. By doing so, injection molding is performed.
However, when the manifold is heated up to a predetermined temperature by the heater as described above, part of the heat that heats the manifold is part of the sprue side that fixes the pressure receiving piece or the manifold to the fixed mold. Heat is dissipated to the fixed mold side from the above, and at the end of the manifold, heat is dissipated to the fixed mold side from the heat insulating ring and the flange part that fixes the manifold to the fixed mold, and stands on the end of the manifold. Heat is also radiated from the operating cylinder, and it takes a relatively long time to raise the temperature of the manifold to a predetermined temperature at which injection molding can be performed, which lowers the production efficiency.
The pressure receiving piece and the heat insulating ring are formed of a metal material such as stainless steel having a lower heat transfer property than the metal material forming the manifold, and do not completely block heat. Heat is radiated from the manifold side to the fixed mold side via the heat insulating ring.
It is possible to raise the heating temperature of the heater to raise the temperature of the manifold until it reaches a predetermined temperature at which injection molding can be performed in a short time. Then, the temperature of the intermediate part of the manifold between the sprue and the runner bush is increased. Is too high, which causes a problem that the resin is decomposed during injection molding and the resin characteristics are deteriorated.
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object thereof is to be able to heat and maintain the temperature of the manifold at a temperature at which injection molding can be performed in a short time when performing injection molding. Another object of the present invention is to provide an injection molding die including a manifold system that can supply the resin to the cavity side while maintaining a good molten state without deteriorating the resin characteristics.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, an injection mold of the present invention comprises, as described in
In the injection molding die thus configured, in the invention according to claim 2, in the cartridge heater, the heat generation temperature of the second heater portion that heats the runner bush side area of the manifold is heated to the sprue side area. It is characterized in that the temperature is set higher than the heating temperature of the first heater portion.
The invention according to claim 3 is characterized in that a temperature sensor is arranged in a region on the runner bush side in the manifold.
Further, the invention according to
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, the runner bush is formed on a flange portion having a thickness smaller than a gap between the fixed mold and the manifold at an upper end portion, and an outer peripheral surface of an upper end portion above the flange portion. It has a screw part to be screwed into the screw hole provided in the manifold, and the screw part is screwed into the screw hole, and the collar part is pressed against the lower surface of the manifold, and the runner bush is attached to the manifold. It is characterized by
According to the invention of
Further, the area on the sprue side, which is heated to a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the molten resin by the first heater portion of the cartridge heater, is located on the pressure receiving piece that holds the manifold on the fixed mold and around the pressure receiving piece. Since the temperature is lowered by the heat released from the part that is in contact with the fixed mold to the fixed mold side, this region keeps the molten resin supplied from the nozzle of the injection molding machine through the sprue into the liner in a good molten state. It can be adjusted to a possible temperature.
Similarly, also in the area on the runner bush side where the second heater portion of the cartridge heater heats up to a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the molten resin, the portion where the manifold is fixed to the fixed mold or the end portion of the manifold is Since the temperature is lowered by the heat released from the cylinders standing upright, the area is adjusted to a temperature that can maintain the molten resin supplied from the nozzle of the injection molding machine through the sprue into the liner in a good molten state. can do.
On the other hand, in the intermediate region between the region on the sprue side and the region on the runner bush side of the manifold, heat is hardly radiated to the fixed mold side, and moreover, the third heater in the cartridge heater for heating this intermediate region is used. Since the heat generation temperature of the part is set to a temperature that can maintain the melting temperature of the molten resin, it is injected from the nozzle of the injection molding machine into the sprue without degrading the resin characteristics of the molten resin that passes through the runner in this area. The molten resin can be supplied to the runner bush side through the runner while maintaining a good molten state.
According to the invention of claim 2, in the cartridge heater, the heat generation temperature of the second heater portion that heats the runner bush side region of the manifold is the heat generation temperature of the first heater portion that heats the sprue side region. Since the temperature is set higher than the above, the area on the runner bush side having the gate opening/closing cylinder of the runner bush, which has a larger heat generation amount than the sprue side heated by the first heater portion, and the fixing portion for the fixed mold Can be heated to a temperature substantially the same as that on the sprue side, and therefore, the manifold can be set to a substantially uniform temperature that can maintain the melting temperature of the molten resin over the entire length by heat generation from the cartridge heater. ..
According to the invention of claim 3, since the temperature sensor is arranged in the area on the runner bush side in the manifold, the temperature of the molten resin flowing in the runner from the sprue side to the runner bush side is detected. Can be adjusted so as to always maintain a good molten state.
According to the invention of
According to the invention of
A specific embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In FIGS. 1 and 2, an injection molding die includes a fixed

Inside the
Further, in the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
The heating wire portions having a high winding density wound around the one end side and the other end side of the
The heating temperature of the
On the other hand, since the heat generation temperature of the
Further, a
At each end of the
The
Further, in the
The
A
A
When starting the injection molding, the injection molding die configured as described above heats the
At this time, the heat generation temperatures of the first and
Similarly, in the
On the other hand, in the
In this way, before the injection molding is started, the entire state of the
A
In this way, the melting temperature of the molten resin is made good by heating and adjusting it to a temperature substantially equal to the melting temperature of the molten resin by the
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The injection molding die of the present invention can heat and maintain the temperature of the manifold at a temperature at which injection molding can be performed in a short time at the time of performing injection molding.
