Description

The present invention is an apparatus for manufacturing a cushioning material used when a precision instrument or the like is transported, which is capable of producing a cushioning material having a high cushioning performance in which a narrow strip-shaped chip is highly densely sealed in a bag. The present invention relates to a material manufacturing apparatus and a cushioning material manufacturing method.

Conventionally, various techniques have been disclosed as this type of cushioning material. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a cushioning material manufacturing apparatus that automatically manufactures a cushioning material in which paper shredded chips are placed in a packaging bag. This cushioning material manufacturing device is provided with a plurality of fixed holes of the same size in the fixed drum, and the chips made by cutting the corrugated cardboard paper are compressed by rotating the rotary blades in the hopper and charged into the fixed holes. The products are rotated and sequentially placed in the packaging bags of the packaging machine to realize mass production of cushioning materials with a constant quality.

Further, conventionally, in the manufacture of a cushioning material as shown in page 7, non-patent document 1, photographs 10 and 11, etc., the present situation is that the operation of putting shredded chips into a packaging bag is performed manually.

Packaging Technology November 2014 Issue" Japan Packaging Technology Association Published November 1, 2014

However, in the configuration of Patent Document 1 described above, a fixed amount of compressed chips are put into the packaging bag by free fall from the metering drum. That is, the restoring force acts on the compressed chip in the process of free fall and entering the packaging bag, and the chip is restored from the compressed state until the open end of the packaging bag is sealed. In the packaging bag, the chip is restored to the shape before compression to increase the bulk, it is difficult to seal and cut, and it is difficult to automatically manufacture the cushioning material having a high cushioning property.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and provides a cushioning material manufacturing apparatus that realizes automation of manufacture of a cushioning material in which a shredded chip is enclosed in a packaging bag in a state with high cushioning property. Modes for carrying out the present invention will be described below. Of course, it goes without saying that the present invention can be easily applied to configurations other than those described in the present embodiment without departing from the spirit of the invention.

Hereinafter, a cushioning material manufacturing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing the entire cushioning material manufacturing apparatus. The paper material 100 such as waste paper, spoiled paper, cardboard, etc., which is the content of the cushioning material 120, is shredded by the shredding section 1 to form chips 110, which are conveyed to the hopper 3 by the belt conveyor 2. It is desirable that the shredded chip 110 be in the shape of an elongated strip having a width of 5 mm to 10 mm and a length of about 45 mm to 90 mm, as shown in the enlarged view in the circle of FIG. Hereinafter, the shredded chip 110 shown in the drawings is shown only by cross lines for simplification. The shredder chips 110 are supplied from the hopper 3 via the guide 31 to the weighing unit 4 at predetermined intervals. At that time, the guide 31 is vibrated by the vibrating means 32, whereby the shredded chips 110 entangled can be loosened and supplied to the weighing unit 4. The weighing unit 4 has a door-shaped or shutter-shaped, openable and closable bottom 41, and a bulky weighing unit 42 for weighing the bulk (height) of the shredded chip 110 therein by blocking light. It is equipped with. When the shredded chip 110 of the weighing unit 4 reaches a predetermined height, the supply from the hopper 3 is temporarily stopped. Then, the bottom 41 of the weighing unit 4 is opened, the shredded chips 110 are allowed to fall freely, and the shredded chips 110 are supplied to the packaging machine 5. The wrapping machine 5 is a device that draws out a paper material (hereinafter, roll paper 6) made of roll-shaped polyethylene laminate craft or the like to form a bag-shaped packaging bag 61, and has a hollow cylindrical portion 51. have. The device itself has a known configuration as disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example. By covering the cylindrical portion 51 with the roll paper 6 and sealing the ends with the center sealer 52, the roll paper is formed into a cylindrical shape. The cylindrical roll paper is sealed below the cylindrical portion 51 by the seal cutter 53 and then cut, so that the packaging bag 61 is formed as an exterior of the cushioning material 120.

In the present embodiment, the packaging machine 5 is arranged so that when the shredded chips 110 fall freely, they are thrown into the packaging bag 61 through the hollow portion of the cylindrical portion 51. By arranging in this way, the bottom portion 41 of the weighing unit 4 is opened, and the shredded chips 110 that fall freely are automatically loaded into the packaging bag 61 formed by the packaging machine 5. The supply position of the roll paper 6 is arranged further above the upper end of the cylindrical portion 51 by the tension roller 6a, and is positioned at a position that does not hinder the tip 110 from dropping from the weighing unit 4. With such a supply position, when the roll paper 6 is formed into a tubular shape by the cylindrical portion 51, the roll paper 6 can be sent out smoothly and the occurrence of paper shortage can be prevented.

After the shredded chips 110 are put into the packaging bag 61, the chip volume reducing device 7 descends into the cylindrical portion 51 through the open bottom portion 41 of the weighing unit 4 and the inside of the cylindrical portion 51 of the packaging machine 5. At, the shredded chip 110 in the packaging bag 61 is pressed downward to reduce the volume. When the shredded chip 110 has been reduced in volume, the chip volume reducing section 7 is moved up to the opening end of the packaging bag 61 by the seal cutter 53 before the shredded chip 110 having the reduced volume is restored to the shape before pressing. Is sealed by an appropriate means such as an adhesive or heating, and the sealing portion is cut to form the packaging bag 61 into a predetermined size, so that the packaging bag 61 enclosing the shredded chips 110 is sealed by the top seal 62. At the same time, the bottom of the packaging bag 61 to be manufactured next is formed by the bottom seal 63. In this way, the cushioning material 120 in which the compressed shredded chips are enclosed is completed. The completed cushioning material 120 is sent out by the discharging device 8 and is shipped after performing inspection work and the like (not shown).

FIG. 2 shows that the shredded chips 110 put into the packaging bag 61 formed by the packaging machine 5 are compressed and reduced in volume by the chip volume reducing unit 7, and the packaging bag 61 is sealed and cut at a predetermined position. FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing a series of flows until the cushioning material 120 is formed. The shredded tip 110 is shown by a cross line formed by intersecting line segments for simplification of the drawing. If the angle of the intersecting line segments is closer, the shredded tip 110 is compressed and It shows the state of volume reduction. The roll paper, which is formed into a tubular shape by sealing the side end surface with the center sealer 52 while covering the cylindrical portion 51, is formed into a bag-shaped packaging bag 61 by a seal cutter at a predetermined interval. As shown in FIG. 2A, the shredded chips 110 are put into the packaging bag 61 via the cylindrical portion 51. Since the shredded chips 110 that have been thrown in may be above the seal cutter 53, the seal cutter 53 cannot be operated in this state. After the chips 110 are loaded, as shown in FIG. 2B, the chips 110 are compressed inside the packaging bag 61 by the chip volume reduction device 7 that descends through the cylindrical portion 51 to reduce the volume. Before the restored shredded chip 110 is restored, as shown in FIG. 2C, the chip is sealed and cut by sealing with the seal cutter 53 at a predetermined position as shown in FIG. A top seal 62 is formed on the top of the, and a bottom seal 63 is formed next, which is the bottom of the packaging bag 61 for enclosing the chips. The shredded chip 110 sealed in the packaging bag 61 tries to restore the compressed state in the packaging bag 61, but by sealing the top seal 63 without waiting for the restoration, the shredded chip 110 enclosed. The buffer property of 110 is sufficiently maintained. As described above, the shredded chip 110 is sealed in the packaging bag 61 to form the cushioning material 120, and the process again proceeds to the step of FIG.

According to the cushioning material manufacturing apparatus 10 as described above, it is possible to automatically manufacture the cushioning material which is a piece of paper and which is highly elastic due to the restoring force that acts on the chip that is pressed and reduced in volume. Although the tip volume reducing device 7 is lowered from above after the bottom of the weighing unit 4 is opened in the above embodiments, the present invention is not limited to this, and the weighing unit 4 and the packaging machine 5 are slid. The tip volume reducing device 7 may be arranged so as to be poured from the weighing section 4 into the packaging bag by a guide or the like, and the tip volume reducing device 7 may not pass through the bottom of the weighing section 4. In this case, although the area required for installing the cushioning material manufacturing apparatus 10 is increased, the height of the entire apparatus can be suppressed.

Further, according to the present invention, when the cushioning material is manufactured by chip-shaped shredded paper obtained by shredding waste paper on which information is written, waste papers at different collection locations are blended, that is, the disposal at the collection location A is discarded. Blending waste papers from different collection places, such as x% paper, y% waste papers from the collection place B, z% waste papers from the collection place C, and supplying them to the cushioning material manufacturing apparatus of the present invention. As a result, even if the waste paper has information written therein, it is possible to provide a means for preventing confidential information leakage that is highly confidential to some extent. Accordingly, it is also an object of the present invention to provide a cushioning material manufacturing apparatus and a cushioning material, which realizes automation of the manufacture of the cushioning material provided with a means for preventing leakage of the described information.
