実施例1
図1に示すような、ダイヤモンド金属が接着された研磨カッターが、4.8mmの厚さのガラスに15mmの孔をドリル加工及び面取りするように試験された。研磨カッターは、30重量%の複数のガラス繊維で強化されたポリアミド6でできた中央減衰本体を有した。ポリアミド6ガラス繊維混合物は、TECAMID 6 GF30 Blackという商品名でEnsinger GmbHにより市販されている。この材料は、記載のように貯蔵弾性率及び損失係数について試験され、25℃及び10Hzで、1943MPaの貯蔵弾性率及び0.033の損失係数を有することが見出された。研磨カッターは、65mm/分の供給速度で3,100rpmで稼働され、50個毎に目直しされ、潤滑添加剤を用いてわずかに乳化させた水で冷却された。研磨カッターは、5個の孔の始動を要し、すべての始動部品は、仕様内に製造された。寿命の孔の数は、17秒のサイクルタイムで10,500であった。
図1に示すようなダイヤモンド金属が接着された研磨カッターが、4.8mmの厚さのガラスに15mmの孔をドリル加工及び面取りするように試験された。研磨カッターは、Vincolit(登録商標)X680という商品名でSUMITOMO BAKELITE CO,LTD Groupから販売されている熱硬化性ガラス充填フェノール材料でできた中央減衰本体を有した。この材料は、記載のように貯蔵弾性率及び損失係数について試験され、25℃及び10Hzで、2557MPaの貯蔵弾性率及び0.024の損失係数を有することが見出された。研磨カッターは、65mm/分の供給速度で3,100rpmで稼働され、50個毎に目直しされ、潤滑添加剤を用いてわずかに乳化させた水で冷却された。研磨カッターは、5個の孔の始動を要し、すべてのガラス部品は、仕様内に製造された。寿命の孔の数は、17秒のサイクルタイムで7,000であった。
Gem Europe 3製の面取りドリルとして識別された、中央減衰本体がなくダイヤモンド金属が接着された研磨カッターが、4.8mmの厚さのガラスに15mmの孔をドリル加工及び面取りするように試験された。研磨カッターは、65mm/分の供給速度で3,100rpmで稼働され、50個毎に目直しされ、潤滑剤を用いてわずかに乳化させた水で冷却された。研磨カッターは、5個の孔の始動を要し、すべての部品は、仕様内に製造された。寿命の孔の数は、17秒のサイクルタイムで6,000であった。

Claims (7)
- ダンパー付き研磨カッターであって、
機械取り付け端部と、
結合剤内に配置された複数の研磨粒子を含む研磨表面と、
前記機械取り付け端部を前記研磨表面に接続する中央減衰本体であって、前記ダンパー付き研磨カッターの長手方向軸に沿って3ミリメートルから60ミリメートルの範囲の長さを有する前記中央減衰本体と、を備え、
前記中央減衰本体は、25℃及び10Hzで、1000MPa〜2500MPaの貯蔵弾性率及び0.025〜0.10の損失係数を有する合成ポリマーを含み、
前記機械取り付け端部、前記中央減衰本体、及び、前記研磨表面は、前記長手方向軸に沿って配置され、
前記研磨表面及び前記中央減衰本体は、それぞれ、中空円筒形状を有し、
前記中央減衰本体の前記中空円筒形状の内径は、前記研磨表面の前記中空円筒形状の内径よりも小さい、ダンパー付き研磨カッター。 - 前記中央減衰本体が、ポリアミド6を含む、請求項1に記載のダンパー付き研磨カッター。
- 前記中央減衰本体が、ポリアミド6及び複数のガラス繊維を含む、請求項1に記載のダンパー付き研磨カッター。
- 前記複数のガラス繊維が、前記中央減衰本体の1〜50重量%を構成する、請求項3に記載のダンパー付き研磨カッター。
- 前記複数のガラス繊維が、前記中央減衰本体の30重量%を構成する、請求項3に記載のダンパー付き研磨カッター。
- 前記機械取り付け端部及び前記中央減衰本体が、25℃及び10Hzで、1000MPa〜2500MPaの貯蔵弾性率及び0.025〜0.10の損失係数を有する合成ポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載のダンパー付き研磨カッター。
- 前記中央減衰本体に対して、25℃及び10Hzで得られる前記貯蔵弾性率が、45℃及び10Hzで得られる前記貯蔵弾性率より大きい、請求項1に記載のダンパー付き研磨カッター。
