また、前記複数のコードストランドは、1本の材料強度が8g/d乃至11g/dのものを使用することが好ましい。
また、前記薄層型キャッププライは10mm乃至15mmの幅及び0.2mm乃至0.4mmの厚さを有することが好ましい。
図1は本発明の一実施形態に係る薄層型キャッププライの正断面図である。
以下、上述した薄層型キャッププライ25の製造過程を図2乃至図5を参照して説明する。
図2は図1の薄層型キャッププライの製造過程を示す段階別の写真である。
ここで、コード紡糸層形成段階(ST10)は、複数のコードストランド26aを薄いテープ状に紡糸してコード紡糸層26を形成するようにする。
まず、紡糸段階(ST11)では、ナイロン材質を溶融紡糸して作られる複数のコードストランド26aが薄いテープ状をなすようにする。
堆積段階(ST12)では、薄いテープ状に紡糸された複数本の前記複数のコードストランド26aを互いに堆積するようにする。
また、固定段階(ST13)では、堆積された複数のコードストランド26aが薄いテープ状を維持するように固定する。
図5は図2の薄層型キャッププライ製造過程における、ゴムコーティング層を形成するラバーディップコーティング過程を示す概略図である。
図5を参照すると、ゴムコーティング層形成段階(ST20)は、ラバーディップコーティング段階(ST21)及び乾燥段階(ST22)を含んでなる。
その後、完成した薄層型キャッププライ25は、タイヤ成形の際に、完成しようとするタイヤのサイズに応じて裁断した後、巻き取るようにする。
以下、薄層型キャッププライ25を適用した低重量タイヤ1について図6を参照して説明する。
図6は図1の薄層型キャッププライを適用した低重量タイヤを示す半断面図である。
トレッド部10では、カーカスプライ60の上側にベルト11及びトレッドゴム層12が順次積層されて形成される。
ショルダー部20は、トレッド部10から厚さが益々減少し、サイドウォール部30を連結する部分である。
一方、カーカスプライ60のターンアップ部65は、ビード部40に隣接するサイドウォール部30の外側で一部を覆うように形成される。
ビードワイヤー41は、鋼線をゴムで被覆したワイヤ束であって、タイヤをリムに組み付けるための骨格の役目をする。
一方、前述したトレッド部10とショルダー部20内に、前記ベルト11の上側を覆うキャッププライ25が積層形成される。
ここで、前記キャッププライは、前記薄層型キャッププライ25が適用されることを例示する。
一方、低重量タイヤ1には、適用された薄層型キャッププライ25を10mm乃至15mmの幅に裁断して使用することが好ましい。

Claims (5)
- ポリエステル、ナイロン、アラミド、ポリケトン及びポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET、polyethylene terephthalate)から選択された1種又は2種以上の材料からなる、複数のコードストランド(cord strand)を紡糸することにより薄いテープ状に形成されるコード紡糸層と、前記コード紡糸層の外部を覆うように前記コード紡糸層にコーティングされるゴムコーティング層とを含み、前記コード紡糸層をなす前記複数のコードストランドは、6000D乃至14000Dの繊度及び20個乃至25個の本数を有する、薄層型キャッププライ。
- 前記コードストランドは、1本の材料強度が8g/d乃至11g/dのものを使用する、請求項1に記載の薄層型キャッププライ。
- 前記薄層型キャッププライは10mm乃至15mmの幅及び0.2mm乃至0.4mmの厚さを有する、請求項1又は2に記載の薄層型キャッププライ。
- 前記ゴムコーティング層は、レゾルシノールホルマリンラテックス(RFL、Resorcinol Formaline Latex)、無水マレイン酸樹脂(Maleic Anhydride Resin)及びイソシアネート(Isocyanate)のうちの1種又は2種以上を含む化合物からなる、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の薄層型キャッププライ。
- トレッドゴム層内でベルト層の上側を覆うように形成される請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の薄層型キャッププライを含む、低重量タイヤ。
