Description
Claims (9)
- 絶縁表面上に設けられた複数の走査線と、
前記複数の走査線と交差して設けられた複数の映像信号線と、
前記複数の走査線と前記複数の映像信号線との交点に設けられ、発光素子と、前記発光素子に供給される電流を制御するトランジスタを有する複数の画素と、を有する表示領域と、
前記表示領域上に設けられ、互いに静電容量を形成する、駆動電極と検出電極とを有するタッチセンサと、
を備えた表示装置であって、
前記表示領域において、前記複数の走査線の一行の選択が開始される時点と、次行の選択が開始される時点との間に、前記タッチセンサにおいて、前記駆動電極に立ち上がり又は立ち下がりを有する駆動信号が入力されるとともに、サンプルホールド信号の入力に基づいて前記検出電極の電位変動取得を行うタッチ検出期間を有し、
前記駆動信号の立ち上がり又は立ち下がりから、前記サンプルホールド信号が入力されるまでの間は、前記複数の走査線の電位は一定であり、
前記複数の映像信号線の電位は初期化電位である、ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記駆動信号の立ち上がりから立ち下がりまでの期間、又は立ち下がりから立ち上がりまでの期間は、前記表示領域の複数の水平走査期間に跨っていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記駆動信号の立ち上がり及び立ち下がりが、一のタッチ検出期間に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記駆動信号の立ち上がり又は立ち下がりから、前記サンプルホールド信号が入力されるまでの間は、前記複数の映像信号線の電位はそれぞれ等しいことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記駆動信号の立ち上がり又は立ち下がりは、前記トランジスタのしきい値の取得を行う期間に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 絶縁表面上に設けられた複数の走査線と、
前記複数の走査線と交差して設けられた複数の映像信号線と、
前記複数の走査線と前記複数の映像信号線との交点に設けられ、発光素子と、前記発光素子に供給される電流を制御するトランジスタを有する複数の画素と、を有する表示領域と、
前記表示領域上に設けられ、互いに静電容量を形成する、駆動電極と検出電極とを有するタッチセンサと、
を備えた表示装置の駆動方法であって、
前記トランジスタのゲート又はソースの電位をそれぞれ初期化電位とする初期化期間と、
初期化電位とされた前記トランジスタのゲートの電位を基準として、前記トランジスタのゲートとソースとの間に、しきい値に相当する電位差を生じさせるオフセットキャンセル期間と、
前記映像信号線から、前記トランジスタのゲートに映像信号を入力する映像信号書込期間と、
前記映像信号書込期間で決定されたゲート・ソース間電圧に基づき、前記発光素子に前記電流を供給する発光期間と、
によって前記表示領域において映像の表示が行われ、
前記駆動電極に立ち上がり又は立ち下がりを有する駆動信号が入力されると共に、前記検出電極の電位変動取得を行うタッチ検出期間によって、前記タッチセンサにおいてタッチ検出が行われ、
前記タッチセンサのある一行における前記タッチ検出期間は、前記表示領域のある一行における前記オフセットキャンセル期間に含まれることを特徴とする、表示装置の駆動方法。 - 絶縁表面上に設けられた複数の走査線と、
前記複数の走査線と交差して設けられた複数の映像信号線と、
前記複数の走査線と前記複数の映像信号線との交点に設けられ、発光素子と、前記発光素子に供給される電流を制御するトランジスタを有する複数の画素と、を有する表示領域と、
前記表示領域上に設けられ、互いに静電容量を形成する、駆動電極と検出電極とを有するタッチセンサと、
を備えた表示装置の駆動方法であって、
前記トランジスタのゲート又はソースの電位をそれぞれ初期化電位とする初期化期間と、
初期化電位とされた前記トランジスタのゲートの電位を基準として、前記トランジスタのゲートとソースとの間に、しきい値に相当する電位差を生じさせるオフセットキャンセル期間と、
前記映像信号線から、前記トランジスタのゲートに映像信号を入力する映像信号書込期間と、
前記映像信号書込期間で決定されたゲート・ソース間電圧に基づき、前記発光素子に前記電流を供給する発光期間と、
によって前記表示領域において映像の表示が行われ、
前記駆動電極に立ち上がり又は立ち下がりを有する駆動信号が入力されるとともに、サンプルホールド信号の入力に基づいて、前記タッチセンサにおいてタッチ検出が行われ、
前記タッチセンサのある一行における前記駆動信号の立ち上がり又は立ち下がりから、前記サンプルホールド信号が入力されるまでの間は、前記複数の映像信号線の電位は初期化電位であることを特徴とする、表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記表示領域の次の一行における前記オフセットキャンセル期間において、前記タッチセンサのある一行における前記タッチ検出を複数回行うことを特徴とする、請求項6記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記表示領域の次の一行における前記オフセットキャンセル期間において、前記タッチセンサのある一行における前記駆動信号の立ち上がり又は立ち下がりが複数回含まれることを特徴とする、請求項6記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
