Claims (19)
- 表示領域、及び前記表示領域を取り囲む非表示領域を含む液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルの下に位置して、第1辺、第2辺、第3辺、及び第4辺を含む多角形の平面形状を有する導光板と、
前記導光板の第1辺に隣接する光源と、を含み、
前記導光板の前記第1辺は、前記非表示領域と上下方向に重なり、
前記導光板の前記第2辺、前記第3辺、及び前記第4辺は、前記表示領域と上下方向に重なる、液晶表示装置。 - 前記液晶表示パネル、前記導光板、及び前記光源を収納する下部カバーを含み、
前記下部カバーは、
第1底面と、
前記第1底面を取り囲んで、前記第1底面より浅い深さを有する第2底面と、
前記第1底面と前記第2底面を連結する傾斜面及び第1側面と、
前記第2底面と連結されて、前記第2底面を取り囲む第2側面と、を含み、
前記傾斜面は、前記導光板の前記第2辺、前記第3辺、及び前記第4辺の外側に位置し、
前記第1側面は、前記導光板の前記第1辺の外側に位置する、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記導光板は長方形に形成され、前記第1辺及び前記第2辺の長さは、前記第3辺及び前記第4辺より長い、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記傾斜面の上に位置する第1反射シートをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1反射シートは、鏡面反射シートで形成される、請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1反射シートは、パターンが印刷されている拡散反射シートで形成される、請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記パターンのサイズは、前記導光板から遠くなるほど大きくなる、請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の前記第2辺、前記第3辺、及び前記第4辺の側面に、この側面から出射する光を、当該側面に垂直な方向に集光するためのプリズムパターンが備えられる、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の前記第2辺、前記第3辺、及び前記第4辺の側面は、上方へと向かうにつれて外側へと向かうように傾斜する逆テーパ形状を有する、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の前記第2辺、前記第3辺、及び前記第4辺の下に位置する遮光部材をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記遮光部材は、前記第1底面と前記傾斜面が連結される部分に付着される、請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光源は前記第1側面に付着される、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光源の光出射方向は、前記導光板の前記第1辺に向かう、請求項12に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 表示領域、及び前記表示領域を取り囲む非表示領域を含む液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルの下に位置して、第1辺、第2辺、第3辺、及び第4辺を含む多角形の平面形状を有する導光板と、
前記導光板の第1辺に隣接する光源と、を含み、
前記導光板の前記第1辺、及び前記第1辺と対向する前記第2辺は、前記非表示領域と上下方向に重なり、
前記導光板の前記第3辺及び前記第4辺は、前記表示領域と上下方向に重なる、液晶表示装置。 - 前記液晶表示パネル、前記導光板、及び前記光源を収納する下部カバーを含み、
前記下部カバーは、
第1底面、
前記第1底面を取り囲んで、前記第1底面より浅い深さを有する第2底面と、
前記第1底面と前記第2底面を連結する傾斜面及び第1側面と、
前記第2底面と連結されて、前記第2底面を取り囲む第2側面と、を含み、
前記傾斜面は、前記導光板の前記第2辺と重なり、前記第3辺及び前記第4辺の外側に位置し、
前記第1側面は、前記導光板の前記第1辺の外側に位置する、請求項14に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記導光板の前記第2辺の側面は傾斜を有する、請求項15に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の前記第2辺の側面の傾斜は、前記下部カバーの前記傾斜面の傾斜と平行である、請求項16に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導光板の前記第3辺及び前記第4辺の外側に位置し、前記第3辺及び前記第4辺に隣接する前記傾斜面の上に位置する第1反射シートと、
前記導光板の前記第1〜4辺の内側にて前記導光板と前記下部カバーの間に位置し、前記導光板の前記第2辺の外側にて前記第2辺に隣接する前記傾斜面の上に位置する第2反射シートと、をさらに含む、請求項16に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記導光板の前記第3辺及び前記第4辺の側面に付着されるプリズムをさらに含み、
前記第1反射シートは、鏡面反射シートまたはパターンが印刷されている拡散反射シートで形成され、
前記第2反射シートは、拡散反射シートで形成される、請求項18に記載の液晶表示装置。
