Description
Claims (14)
- カテーテルボディ、
前記カテーテルボディの管腔を通って延びる駆動ケーブル、
前記駆動ケーブルの遠位セクションに結合されるハウジング、及び
前記ハウジング内に取り付けられる超音波トランスデューサ、を有し、
前記ハウジングは、前記超音波トランスデューサの背面にくぼみを含み、前記くぼみは、前記くぼみの表面による超音波信号の第1の反射を前記超音波トランスデューサから離れるよう前記ハウジングの長手方向軸に沿って偏向するように形成される、
血管内イメージング装置。 - 前記くぼみは、前記ハウジングの前記長手方向軸に沿って弓形断面を有する、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記くぼみの前記弓形断面は、前記ハウジングの前記長手方向軸に沿って一定の曲率半径を有する、
請求項2に記載の装置。 - 前記くぼみの前記弓形断面は、前記ハウジングの前記長手方向軸に沿って変化する曲率半径を有する、
請求項2に記載の装置。 - 前記くぼみは、前記ハウジングの前記長手方向軸に垂直に拡がる面において、第2の弓形断面を有する、
請求項2に記載の装置。 - 前記ハウジングの前記長手方向軸に垂直に拡がる前記面における前記くぼみの前記第2の弓形断面は、一定の曲率半径を有する、
請求項5に記載の装置。 - 前記くぼみは、前記ハウジングの前記長手方向軸に沿って超音波信号を近位に偏向するように形成される、
請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記超音波トランスデューサと前記くぼみとの間のスペースは、裏当て材料で充填される、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ハウジング内にマウントされ且つ前記超音波トランスデューサに電気的に結合される特定用途向け集積回路(ASIC)をさらに有する、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 血管内イメージング装置であって:
カテーテルボディと;
前記カテーテルボディの管腔を通って延びる駆動ケーブルと;
前記駆動ケーブルの遠位セクションに結合されるハウジングと;
前記ハウジング内に取り付けられる超音波トランスデューサと、を含む、
血管内イメージング装置;及び、
前記血管内イメージング装置と通信する処理システムであって、前記血管内イメージング装置によって得られたデータを処理するように構成される、処理システム;を有し、
前記ハウジングは、前記超音波トランスデューサの背面にくぼみを含み、前記くぼみは、前記くぼみの表面による超音波信号の第1の反射を前記超音波トランスデューサから離れるよう前記ハウジングの長手方向軸に沿って偏向するように形成される、
血管内イメージングシステム。 - 前記血管内イメージング装置の近位部分とインタフェース接続するとともに前記処理システムと通信するように構成される患者インターフェースモジュールをさらに有する、
請求項10に記載のシステム。 - 前記処理システムと通信するディスプレイをさらに有する、
請求項10に記載のシステム。 - 血管内イメージング装置を形成する方法であって:
開放部及び前記開放部の反対側の側壁のくぼみを有するハウジングを提供するステップと、
前記ハウジング内に超音波トランスデューサを取り付けるステップであって、前記開放部が前記超音波トランスデューサへの及び前記超音波トランスデューサからの超音波信号の伝達を可能にするとともに、前記くぼみの表面が超音波信号の第1の反射を前記超音波トランスデューサから離れるように前記ハウジングの長手方向軸に沿って偏向させるよう、前記超音波トランスデューサの前面が前記開放部に面するとともに前記超音波トランスデューサの背面が前記くぼみに面するように、取り付けるステップと、
前記ハウジングを回転駆動ケーブルに結合するステップと、
前記回転駆動ケーブル及び前記ハウジングをカテーテルの管腔の中に位置決めするステップと、を含む、
方法。 - 前記ハウジングを提供するステップは、切削加工、グラインディング、モールディング、及び放電加工の少なくとも1つを使用して前記くぼみを形成するステップを含む、
