医療装置の製造方法の一例に、その方法は、管状部材に拡張可能なフレームを取り付けることを含み、管状部材は、内腔を形成する管状部材及びガイドワイヤポートを形成する遠位端部を有し、拡張可能なフレームは、第一態様と拡張態様との間に切り換えられるよう設計されており、フレームは、基部、端部領域及び基部と端部領域との間に延びる複数のストラットを備え、ストラットはフレームに沿った複数の開口部を規定しており、前記方法は、フレームの一部にカバーを取り付けることを含み、カバーは、フレームが体管腔内に配置されている時、フレームがガイドワイヤポートを心臓弁の開口と整合させるように、一つ又はそれ以上の複数の開口部を覆うように構成されていることと、を含む。
ガイドワイヤ内腔がその中に形成された細長いシャフトであって、遠位ガイドワイヤポートを備えるシャフトと、
シャフトまわりにスライド可能に配置されたスリーブと、
シャフトに連結された自己拡張性のバスケットであって、第一態様と拡張態様との間に切り換えられよう設計されたバスケットと、
バスケットが第一態様にある時に、スリーブがバスケットまわりに配置され、
バスケットは、遠位ガイドワイヤポートに近接して配置される基部と、遠位ガイドワイヤポートに隣接して配置される端部領域と、フレームに沿って複数の開口部を規定する、基部と端部領域との間に延びる複数のストラットとを有し、
フレームに取り付けられたカバーであって、フレームが心臓弁に隣接した血管内に位置決めされる時に、遠位ガイドワイヤポートを心臓弁の開口と整合させるように、複数の開口部のうちいくつかを覆い、血流が複数の開口部へ向かうように構成されたカバーとを有する。
上記例のいずれか一つに代替的にまたは追加的に、別例では、カバーはバスケットの遠位部のまわりにおいて周方向に延び、バスケットの近位部にはカバーがない。
上記例のいずれか一つに代替的にまたは追加的に、別例では、カバーは膨張したポリテトラフルオロエチレンを有する。
すべての数値は、明示の記載の有無にかかわらず、「約」という用語で修飾されると想定されている。「約」という用語は、一般的に当業者が、記載された数値に等しい、つまり、同じ機能または結果を奏する、と考える数値範囲を示す。多くの場合、「約」には、最も近い有効数字に四捨五入される複数の数値が含まれる。

Claims (20)
- 医療装置において、
管状部材であって、その中に形成される内腔及びガイドワイヤポートを形成する遠位端部を有する管状部材と、
前記管状部材の前記遠位端部に沿って配置される拡張可能なフレームであって、前記フレームは第一態様と拡張態様との間に切り換えられるよう設計されていて、基部、端部領域及び前記基部と前記端部領域との間に延びる複数のストラットを備え、前記ストラットは前記フレームに沿った複数の開口部を規定する前記フレームと、
前記フレームの一部に取り付けられたカバーであって、前記カバーは、前記フレームが体管腔内に配置されている時に、前記フレームが前記ガイドワイヤポートを心臓弁の開口と整合させるように、一つ又はそれ以上の前記複数の開口部を覆うように構成されているカバーと、を備え、前記管状部材の前記遠位端部は前記フレームの前記端部領域の中を延びる、医療装置。 - 前記フレームが拡張態様にある時に前記端部領域は放線状に拡張している、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記フレームが拡張態様にある時に、前記フレームは円錐形状を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の医療装置。
- 前記フレームはニッケルチタン合金を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カバーは血流を前記複数の開口部へ送り込むよう設計されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カバーは前記フレームまわりに延びている、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カバーは前記フレームの前記端部領域に隣接して位置決めされている、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記フレームの基部に隣接する前記フレームの一部には前記カバーがない、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カバーは布を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カバーは前記フレームの外面、又は前記フレームの内面、又はその両方に沿って配置されている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カバーは膨張したポリテトラフルオロエチレンを有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記管状部材のまわりに配置された挿入スリーブを更に有する、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 前記挿入スリーブは前記管状部材に関してスライド可能であり、前記挿入スリーブは前記フレームを前記第一態様にシフトするために前記フレーム上をスライド可能である、請求項12に記載の医療装置。
- 前記管状部材の近位領域に沿って配置されたマーカを更に有する、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の医療装置。
- 医療装置の製造方法において、その方法は、
管状部材に拡張可能なフレームを取り付けることを含み、
前記管状部材はその中に形成される内腔及びガイドワイヤポートを規定する遠位端部を有する管状部材を備え、
第一態様と拡張態様との間に切り換えられるように設計される拡張可能なフレームであって、基部、端部領域及び前記基部と前記端部領域との間に延びる複数のストラットを備え、前記ストラットは前記フレームに沿った複数の開口部を規定しており、
前記方法は、前記フレームの一部にカバーを取り付けることを含み、
前記カバーは、前記フレームが体管腔内に位置している時、前記フレームが前記ガイドワイヤポートを心臓弁の開口と整合させるように、一つ又はそれ以上の前記複数の開口部を覆うように構成されていることと、を含み、前記管状部材の前記遠位端部は前記フレームの前記端部領域の中を延びる方法。 - 自己中央化医療装置において、
ガイドワイヤ内腔がその中に形成された細長いシャフトであって、遠位ガイドワイヤポートを備えるシャフトと、
前記シャフトまわりにスライド可能に配置されたスリーブと、
前記シャフトに連結された自己拡張性のバスケットであって、第一態様と拡張態様との間に切り換えられよう設計された前記バスケットと、
前記バスケットが前記第一態様にある時に、前記スリーブが前記バスケットまわりに配置され、
前記バスケットは、前記遠位ガイドワイヤポートに近接して配置される基部と、前記遠位ガイドワイヤポートに隣接して配置される端部領域と、フレームに沿って複数の開口部を規定する、前記基部と前記端部領域との間に延びる複数のストラットとを有し、
前記フレームに取り付けられたカバーであって、
前記フレームが心臓弁に隣接した血管内に位置決めされる時に、前記遠位ガイドワイヤポートを心臓弁の開口と整合させるように、前記複数の開口部のうちいくつかを覆い、血流が前記複数の開口部へ向かうように構成されたカバーと、を有し、
前記細長いシャフトは、前記バスケットの中を延びる、自己中央化医療装置。 - 前記バスケットが拡張態様にある時に前記バスケットは円錐形状を有する、請求項16に記載の自己中央化医療装置。
- 前記カバーは前記バスケットの遠位部のまわりにおいて周方向に延び、前記バスケットの近位部には前記カバーがない、請求項31に記載の自己中央化医療装置。
- 前記カバーは、前記バスケットの外面、又は前記バスケットの内面、又はその両方に沿って配置されている、請求項16に記載の自己中央化医療装置。
- 前記カバーは膨張したポリテトラフルオロエチレンを有する、請求項16に記載の自己中央化医療装置。
