Description
The present invention relates to a technique for forming a circuit pattern on a substrate using a curable resin that is cured by irradiation with light in the ultraviolet region and a metal-containing liquid containing metal fine particles.
In recent years, as described in the following patent document, an ultraviolet curable resin is irradiated with ultraviolet rays to form a resin layer, and a metal-containing liquid containing metal fine particles is irradiated with a laser beam to form wiring. The forming technology has been developed. And a circuit pattern is formed by forming a resin layer and wiring in arbitrary positions on a board | substrate using such a technique.
In the technique described in the above-mentioned patent document, the ultraviolet curable resin is irradiated with ultraviolet rays by the ultraviolet irradiation device, and the metal-containing liquid is irradiated with laser light by the laser irradiation device. In other words, in order to form the resin layer and the wiring on the substrate, two irradiation devices, an ultraviolet irradiation device and a laser irradiation device, are necessary, securing an installation space, increasing costs, increasing power consumption, etc. There are various problems. For this reason, it is considered that the practicality of the apparatus and method for forming a circuit pattern using an ultraviolet curable resin and a metal-containing liquid is improved by solving such various problems. The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a highly practical circuit pattern forming apparatus and a circuit pattern forming method.
In order to solve the above problems, a circuit pattern forming apparatus described in the present application includes a first discharge device that discharges a curable resin that is cured by irradiation with light in an ultraviolet region onto a substrate, and a metal-containing liquid that includes metal fine particles. A second discharge device that discharges the laser light onto the substrate, an irradiation device that irradiates laser light, a nonlinear crystal that converts the wavelength of the laser light into a wavelength in the ultraviolet region, and a metal-containing liquid discharged onto the substrate. And a control device that irradiates the curable resin discharged onto the substrate with the laser light through the nonlinear crystal.
In order to solve the above-described problems, a circuit pattern forming method described in the present application includes a first discharge device that discharges a curable resin that is cured by irradiation with light in an ultraviolet region onto a substrate, and a metal-containing liquid that includes metal fine particles. In the circuit pattern forming method using the second ejection device for ejecting the laser beam onto the substrate, the irradiation device for irradiating the laser beam, and the nonlinear crystal for converting the wavelength of the laser beam to the wavelength in the ultraviolet region, the circuit pattern The forming method includes a wiring forming step of forming a wiring by irradiating the metal-containing liquid discharged onto the substrate with the laser beam, and a curable resin discharged onto the substrate via the nonlinear crystal. And a resin layer forming step of forming a resin layer by irradiating with laser light.
In the circuit pattern forming apparatus and the circuit pattern forming method described in the present application, the metal-containing liquid discharged on the substrate is irradiated with laser light. On the other hand, the curable resin discharged onto the substrate is irradiated with laser light through a nonlinear crystal. Incidentally, the nonlinear crystal converts the wavelength of laser light into a wavelength in the ultraviolet region. Accordingly, the metal-containing liquid can be used as the wiring and the ultraviolet curable resin can be used as the resin layer by the apparatus that irradiates the laser beam. That is, it is possible to form a circuit pattern using an ultraviolet curable resin and a metal-containing liquid with a single laser light irradiation device without separately arranging the ultraviolet irradiation device, and the practicality is improved.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings as modes for carrying out the present invention.
<Configuration of electronic device manufacturing apparatus>
FIG. 1 shows an electronic
The
The
The
The
The
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the
The laser light is output by bringing the atoms of the laser medium into an excited state, that is, pumping. As the laser medium, Nd: YOV 4 , Nd: YAG, Er: YAG, GaAlAs, GaAlP, CO 2 , He—Ne, rare earth-doped fiber, rhodamine, or the like can be used. The wavelength of the laser light may be the same as that of visible light, but is preferably longer than visible light, and preferably 1000 nm or more. For this reason, in the
The
In addition, the reflecting
The
Specifically, for example, when a KTP crystal is employed as the
For example, when LBO crystals are used as the
The light converted into light having a wavelength in the ultraviolet region by the
Further, the moving
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the
<Operation of electronic device manufacturing equipment>
In the
Subsequently, the laser beam is irradiated toward the
Further, when a resin layer is formed on the
Subsequently, the
As described above, in the
On the other hand, in the conventional manufacturing apparatus, not only a laser irradiation apparatus but also an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus such as a mercury lamp or an LED is used, and the
In view of the above, in the
In the
Furthermore, in the

For example, a filter that allows only light having a wavelength in the ultraviolet region to pass can be disposed in the
